When the North Tower collapsed at 10:28am, a hot and heavy section of the perimeter wall came off high on the tower and struck WTC7, this section fell at least 1000 feet and cut a deep gash through 18 lower floors in SE face of WTC7 and set fires within the building. Other debris from the North Tower struck WTC7 on the roof and high on the south face. The collapse of the South Tower earlier had severely damaged the water supply throughout the WTC complex, and this lack of water prevented an effective fire suppression effort in WTC7. The fires burned out of control for over 7 hours. Later in the day, fire crews inside and around the building reported internal collapses and movement in the building. At around 4:30 pm, the fire commander on the scene had a t***sit sighted along the south face of WTC7. This revealed a significant outward bulge developing in the lower 7 or 8 floors. It was then that the fire commander ordered his crews out of the building and had all of them move away to a secure area. About two minutes before WTC7 collapsed, movement was detected and 6 seconds before collapse initiation, the building began rocking. This is concrete evidence that WTC7 was not imploded by a controlled demolition.
