I saw an advertisement for Planned Parenthood displayed on a page on this forum. They touted it as a means of birth control! A******ns are illegal in states because it is the k*****g of a potential person. It is obliterating a human life. I think this forum should pull the add and write an apology!

It's called "infanticide" by some...."termination" by others. Either way it sounds like getting rid of ugly bugs.
Here's an ugly bug:
The Broken JarJeremiah 19:1-6
1 This is what the Lord says: “Go and buy a clay jar from a potter. Take along some of the elders of the people and of the priests
2 and go out to the Valley of Ben Hinnom, near the entrance of the Potsherd Gate. There proclaim the words I tell you,
3) and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and people of Jerusalem. This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Listen! I am going to bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle.
4) For they have forsaken me and made this a place of foreign gods; they have burned incense in it to gods that neither they nor their
ancestors nor the kings of Judah ever knew, and
they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent. 5)
They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind. 6) So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call this place Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.
Then Jeremiah breaks the jar and tells the Israelites all the bad things that are about to happen.

I am humbled by these words. And I used to be Catholic.

Being a reformed Catholic doesn't mean one has to be a reformed Christian or student of Christ. Scripture is too valuable a resource to cast aside. Not only does it give me insight where I would not otherwise have it,
it also tells me how to interpret the times.People today sacrifice children to god of their bellies, balls, bank accounts and brains. Ba'al. Same thing. Truly, there's nothing is new under the sun.
Having said that...there's good news.

===================
In a******n, the constitution does not apply. That God given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness would not apply. When life is gone, how could a human being obtain liberty and the pursuit of happiness? The person is dead!
A******n is the obliteration of human lives. If all liberal and democrat women are left on earth, the world would be extinct.
God said, go multiply and replenish the earth. Liberals and democrats are the opposite of this.
That's kind of like the death penalty, isn't it?

A******n is murder and death is the only penalty. That is God's word not man's interpretation of a******n.
I have never seen an advertisement displayed by this forum. It may have been one of the users of this forum that posted it(which would be OK) but I didn't think the creators of this show their opinion...at least I hope not!!

kcstargoat, You certainly are entitled to your opinion. I too am against a******ns, and if my wife became accidentally pregnant, we would never consider an a******n. Having said that, I believe that women also have a right to their opinion as well. It is not a clear black or white decision, and the SCOTUS has made a wise decision. Exactly when a fetus becomes a person is a matter of personal philosophy and religion. I think the litmus test is a fair compromise. According to law, a fetus should be considered a person when it can survive outside a woman uterus. This decision can not make everybody happy. No decision could possibly do that, but it is reasonable.

Saltwind 78, I too am a man and I can not impose my personal beliefs upon another person, especially a woman. It is their choice to do as they will with a fetus. If the baby can survive outside their body, then I would consider it murder. But it is not much different than the state condemning someone to death. If someone did something so terrible that they don't belong in society, I, personally, would rather see them locked in a cage (cell) for the rest of their natural lives. God will decide the inevitable fate. Why bring it sooner?
