Wonder Woman's shock (if you've seen the movie) at how base, cruel, and violent humanity is. She does not understand "practical destruction"

A flaw we share. That there is war and that war is an option is insane to me. I cannot wrap my mind around it. And most talk about it casually. Crazy! To me. So I am at a great disadvantage in life. Violence is off the table. I grew up in da Bronx. Three times I was threatened with death. And I am here to tell the tale. Why? Because I let the power of God's peace to protect me. We as nations and as people do not have the patience or inclination to call on God for his protection. We need practical results, within our control. The instinct is to resist, to dominate, to overcome. Be a man, right? Aggression against us must be answered by overwhelming shock and awe. Rah, rah! But who are the good guys? Us, right? What do they believe? Did the "savages" mentioned in the Constitution, nearly annihilated by our policy of genocide, think they were wrong? Were they wrong?

Madness. And most take it as the norm. How is that possible?

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
