A classified intelligence assessment revealed that in recent months, North Korea had upped its production of fuel for nuclear weapons at several secret sites.
US officials said they believe North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may be trying to conceal the secret facilities.
"There is absolutely unequivocal evidence that they are trying to deceive the US," one US official said, according to NBC News.

As President Donald Trump touted a new era of diplomacy with the North Korean regime, a classified intelligence assessment appeared to tell a different story, according to several US intelligence officials.

The assessment revealed that, in recent months, North Korea had upped its production of fuel for nuclear weapons at several secret sites, according to over a dozen intelligence officials cited in an NBC News report published Friday. The officials said they believe North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may be trying to conceal the secret facilities from the US.

"Work is ongoing to deceive us on the number of facilities, the number of weapons, the number of missiles," one senior US intelligence official said to NBC News. "We are watching closely."

According to five US officials cited by NBC News, the North Korean regime was increasing production of enriched uranium, even as relations with the US improved following the 2018 Winter Olympics. And since the leaders of both countries held a summit in Singapore in mid-June, the Trump administration has already delivered some concessions to the North.

I hope this isn’t True... this would be just terrible.

Are you hoping this is true so you have something to trash Trump with ?

Terrible? What's terrible is the naivete that Trump shows when negotiating "deals." Kims a snake and Trump is the most inexperienced person ever to sit at the head of the table. It's an opening made for disaster and I hope there is someone looking over Trumps shoulder because if not this could be the worst deal we've ever done...

This isn't only coming from US Intelligence folks, it's coming from other ( formerly ) allied Nations. No one was sitting on the sidelines waiting for the US to solve the N. Korean problem, they were doing their own assessments quietly.

I said from the beginning that the US was going to get played by China and N. Korea, and that "denuclearization" was the bait in a trap, a trap we walked blithely into. It's unfortunate that the President of the United States was more concerned with getting some awesome video footage to crow about, than he was about getting any real and verifiable concessions from Kim. An agreement to continue talks about potentially finding some agreements down the road, did nothing to remove the nuclear threat N. Korea poses, despite Trump's assertion that he "trusts" Chairman Kim. The US and others have been deceived by the N. Koreans for nearly 70 years, with many promises made, none kept.

Remember George W. Bush's "mission accomplished" fiasco? Here we are 15 years down the road in Iraq, with no accomplished mission, or much accomplishment at all. Trump's assertion that the nuclear threat posed by N. Korea is no more......................is his "mission accomplished" moment.

Firstly, Trump needs to step away from the cameras and stop strategizing via Twitter and let Sec. of State do his job. Next, Mike needs to rehire some folks that know China and N. Korea thoroughly, and have serious (and secret) talks to find out what they want...................then start the haggling that will end up with something concrete signed on the dotted line. Wh**ever they come up with must have the stick and the carrot clearly spelled out.

This will require a tag team approach. By that I mean that Japan, Australia and New Zealand need to have representatives included in the negotiating process, as well as a role in the verification mechanism.

If we do not include China in our approach, we will fail to reach any legitimate conclusion.

Hmmm maybe... but valid points...
as for Trump he’ll do wh**ever he wants how he wants and that’s that so I wouldn’t concern yourself with his Methods.

The Problem with the above is Central Banksters and their Straglehold on Global Banking and Trade...this really pisses Kim off...and he want’s nothing to do with the CryptoJews

I also point out that nothing will change until the Central Bankster Control is gone and nations like NK are free to trade, buy and sell like any normal person would.

Down the Rabbit hole we go....

I'm still confused as to why you believe that Trump knows what he's doing, that he somehow gained awesome insight in the few months before he declared his candidacy. He never concerned himself with this stuff before, wishful thinking is not diplomacy, nor is throwing grenades all over the place. This isn't a movie script, and the other actors won't follow wh**ever Trump writes. Trump has ZERO advisors that know what they're doing, and whenever he listens to them he betrays the office he holds.

I've said it before, the banksters have Trump by the short hairs and he'll end up doing wh**ever they want him to. While the world is watching Trump torch everything in sight............the big money folks are quietly maneuvering all the other players into place. Look to the "exit the brexit" movement in England to find the proof of what I claim.

Those are valid points too and yes I’m aware of the trickery in Brexit.. but Trump doesn’t really want to listen to all his advisors much because all those who came before him with all their Jesuit Thoughts experience have failed to fix anything and the Beat Goes ON.

There ARE people he could turn to and I've no doubt he knows who they are, but he's stuck with the i***ts he has, because that's the deal he struck with the " you-know-who's ".

You’re depressing me again with this theory that he’s struck a deal with them and so he’s forced to hire, rehire, recycle, retread all the usual Minions of the Jesuit Schools of Trickery Thought.

Well then you just confirmed my theories that they forced Mnuchin and Powell on him and the Central Bankster families are running the show still and Trump has been c*********d ?

I posted this Topic about that last year:

He's been c*********d for a long time. He managed to burn nearly every legitimate source of funding early in his "career", forcing him to turn to "alternative" funding sources. It's pretty straight forward. Had there been a requirement for P**********l candidates to pass FBI background checks, he would never have considered running - there's too many skeletons. I imagine the reason why there ISN'T such a law.............is because we'd have no one but nut cases running for President.

BTW, Trump isn't worried about any collusion, cooperation or coordination with Russia, that's small potatoes, but he IS worried about potential financial disclosures.............and the shenanigans continue even as we speak. Notice that the funding for his Indonesian stuff was magically approved? Who is "loaning" him the money for that - and what did he promise in return? That little nugget was overshadowed, and therefor lost in the shuffle.......................by the Kim and Trump pageant in Singapore.

I largely ignore the crap the media and internet throw out there, as I believe that is just a smoke screen, I mine the little bits of information that are only found in tiny print, as that's where the t***h is found. Nothing is ever as it seems..........................it's far, far worse.

Like the new travel ban? Take a look at which countries are NOT on the list, but should have been. They were never on the list. There's a good reason why those countries were left out, not good for the USA mind you.....................but very good for certain people. You'll see it, now that you know to look.
