Lindsey Graham: Trump Saying Russia Didn’t Meddle In Our E******ns Is ‘F**e News’

So here we have a conservative saying that Trump is the one spreading F**E news. Am I surprised? No, I mean it is Lindsey Graham, a man his fellow cons think is a RINO and that right there means that anyone capable of using reason is rejected by the ultra right base.

Here’s a sobering thought: Later this month, President Donald Trump will meet with Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia at a summit being held in Helsinki, Finland. Can you imagine what concessions Trump will make to Putin, the man who helped elect him?

That fear is very much on the mind of Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee and was a guest on Meet the Press Sunday. Graham said he hopes Trump will call out Putin for attempting to interfere in our most fundamental democratic right as Americans:

“I’m concerned when the president tweets, you know, Russia denies they meddled in our e******n, “When they say they didn’t meddle, they’re lying, so I’m glad the president is going to confront Putin. Show him the evidence you got, Mr. President, because it’s overwhelming.”

But in the next breath, Graham seemed to praise Trump before he again warned the president:

“In many ways this administration has been tough on Russia. We’ve armed the Ukraine, we’ve imposed sanctions, we’ve kicked out diplomats, but the idea that Russia did not meddle in our e******n is f**e news. They did meddle in our e******n and they’re doing it again in 2018.”

The South Carolina Senator also said he’s worried that Trump may let Syria fall under the control of Russia and Iran:

“It’s up to President Trump to make sure that we don’t give Russia and Iran Syria. We’ve allowed ISIS to rise by leaving Iraq. We’ve now got ISIS in a good spot but a lot of people over here [in Turkey] are very worried about leaving Syria and giving it to the Iranians and the Russians, which would throw the whole region into chaos.”

Trump has already declared that American forces will be leaving Syria very soon, so it would appear that the president has already decided to give the country to Russia and Iran, meaning the United States will again cede the leadership role in a critical region of the world.

Perhaps Lindsey Graham needs to get busy with his GOP colleagues passing some resolutions and legislation that would tie Trump’s hands in the area of foreign policy. But it seems doubtful he or any of the other Republican cowards will do so.
