Want free education, health care for life, guaranteed housing mortgage from our government?

OK. Just sign up with the military. You get to serve and protect your country at the same time.

It will do you good. You will learn which end of a rifle the bullet comes out of. You will learn about self discipline. Not only will you get free medical care while on active duty you will enjoy a lifetime of medical service through the VA. Want a house when you get out. No problem, the government will guarantee your mortgage.

While serving you will receive free meals and a warm bed to sleep in.

Then there is the opportunity to attend some of the best schools available. That's right (depending on your qualifications) you could earn many opportunities for an education at one of the many military schools. (most offer college credits)--colleges which you can also attend on your spare time.

Only by donning the uniform of our military can you help insure your success in life and get paid for it.

How about it. Ready to prove your worth as an American citizen?

A now funny and true story.... when it happened, it was not funny. My parents paid for my education in nursing. After a few years and holding too many hands of the dying, drug overdoses, and such..... I could not take it anymore and one night, I quit.
Poppa was upset, he told me to go find a job because I could not live as a moocher in his home. So, I was homeless and broke. Twenty five dollars and no job. I went to the recruiters, told them my situation and they tested me.... they told me to pick the job I wanted.... Navy, Marines, and Air Force gave me lists to select from..... 5 days later I had my physical (after imposing on friends for a place to sleep), and three more days I was sworn in and put on an airplane. I have never regretted my choice and would do it again in a heartbeat. They sent me to school..... many times. I never worried for clothing, food or a safe place to sleep. I do recommend the military for women and men....

That's very good Lynn. Thank you. I think it is the best place to start for these complaining millennials. Best training for self-discipline, personal responsibility, loyalty and patriotism, and most of all service for our country. Israel is a country that requires all their citizens to serve. Israel the tiniest country in the world, could protect itself from millions of Muslims ready to devour them.

As usual lil'Kevyn, your words are nothing more than hot air (and an abundance of it)

I reply to your above stupidity as follows:

1. Since you have never encountered combat in any part of the world, your pre-conceived ideas of the conditions are pathetic.

2. Why don't you tell all of us about the medical care for life, Guaranteed mortgages, College paid tuition and all those other socialist demands, government benefits available to all who join the peace corps

3. What do you receive from your country if you are honorable discharged for military service? How about:

VA Disability Compensation

VA Medical Benefits

VA Home Loan

VA Education Benefits

VA Pension

Readjustment Counseling

Educational and Career Counseling

Confidential Counseling and Support

Federal Hiring Preference

Discounts

State Specific Benefits

VA Burial Allowance

VA Headstone or Marker

Burial F**g

Burial in VA Cemetery

Burial in Arlington National Cemetery (if awarded Purple Heart, or Silver Star and above)

Inturnment in Arlington National Cemetery

Burial at Sea

P**********l Memorial Certificate.
