What to Expect From the New Clinton Docs

Are you tired of talking about immigration yet? Same here. As outrageous as every worthless word from the left has been, they haven’t been acting without a purpose. This giant charade from mainstream media has held an ulterior motive.

Rather than trying to promote immigration reform, they’re trying to distract the country from potentially devastating news. Well, the news is only devastating if you’re a l*****t. The DOJ has finally released a ton of documents to Congress, and they all relate to the investigations into Russian collusion and Clinton emails.

The Battle

If you haven’t followed this story closely, there might be some confusion. The Department of Justice claimed that they fully complied with oversight requests in April when they released the original request of the FISA warrant that let them spy on Trump’s campaign.

While they did release some information, it was a scant fraction of what had been formally requested by the House committee. Since then, they have stalled and flat out refused to comply with requests for the rest of the pertinent documents in the investigation.

That began to change last week. The DOJ finally complied and released another cache of documents. It still isn’t everything, but it contains a considerable amount of information and might let the oversight committee attempt to do its job.

Resistance

What’s important to understand is that this resistance has not been uniform. Plenty of people within the DOJ have been fighting internal battles to get the personnel in question to comply. The source of the resistance is a cadre of Democrats and Obama holdovers. Unsurprisingly, they’re the core group of people who actually ran the spy program that infiltrated Trump’s campaign, and they were the investigators who handled Hillary’s email scandal.

Democrats in Congress have tried to cover for these members of the DOJ to prevent the documents from being released. Of course, they claim that giving the information to House Republicans will only empower and embolden them in attempts to undermine Mueller’s investigation. But, despite those efforts, the DOJ holdouts were facing Contempt of Congress and capitulated — at least a little.

Here’s the thing. The only way these documents could be used to undermine Mueller’s investigation is if they revealed problems with it. House Republicans have no power to alter the documents. They can’t fabricate the information.

The t***h is that oversight committees exist to ensure that law enforcement and the entire Department of Justice are staying in line. This staunch resistance to simple oversight shows us that they have plenty to hide and plenty of reason to fear oversight.

The Nuts and Bolts

Naturally, this discussion leads us to the inevitable question: what is actually in the documents? It will be some time before we get a chance to review the documents with our own eyes. The information is still classified. So, pending a leak or a Congressional declassification (which would include redactions), we’ll be stuck taking the word of the Representatives who review the information. Perhaps that’s better than nothing.

But, even if we can’t read the documents, we do know their nature. The bulk of the information relates to the spies in the Trump campaign. Some of what is being passed to Congress includes direct communications from the spies and the official guidelines from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Other documents are said to pertain to the Clinton investigation, but we can only guess as to what they actually contain. Considering how reluctant the DOJ is to let Congress see them, we have to assume that they include evidence of improper procedure or blatant obstruction of justice.

This biggest takeaway from this whole ordeal is how much it scares the left. They’ve fought tooth and nail to hide the t***h, and piece by piece, they are losing. This point only makes more sense when you look at the timing of the recent border “crisis.” Trump’s zero-tolerance policy has been at play for months. The news cycle didn’t try to start an uproar until after Congress threatened the DOJ with contempt charges. That’s no coincidence.

The media and the left will definitely do everything in their power to hide the information in these documents and downplay their significance. Until we can see them for ourselves, we can only gauge their potency by the left’s response. With the right timing, these documents could fully unravel the Democratic Party.

Everyone in Washington D.C. knows what's in those documents. They are delaying release for as long as they can until hopefully they can get something on Trump that would turn public opinion against him and then they can overshadow their own treasons with impeachment hearings.

Glad you noticed, but Washington is a tight circle, and if you know it, and I know it, certainly the inside of Washington knows it. They just haven't had the treason problem from so many prominent kommiecrat leaders. Is it cheaper to keep 'em? That's what they have to decide.
All treasonous, all bullmueller.

Changed my mind, I'm a full fledged Waters Pelosi Ellison Squaw Warren Clinton Obama Kommiecrat now.
That was convincing.
