The magnanimous state of Rhode Island is trying to get a bill passed, that will keep Donald Trump off the b****t in their state in 2020, if he doesn't produce his tax returns..

State Sen. Gayle Goldin (D) sponsored the bill, saying every p**********l candidate has released their tax returns voluntarily since Nixon..

Rhode Island is a heavyweight state with four e*******l v**es..

Is this bill Constitutional?

I hear you, it would be great if the Progs coordinated a vigorous campaign of holding their breath until Donald Trump is out of office...

The left is nothing but hypocrites . They unnecessarily use resources. They should be jumping out of buildings as an example. Don't they realize how much plastic they have. TVs, computers, and credit cards.

No and it won’t fly here either... potential presidents go through a vetting process and disclose everything required or they aren’t approved.. Unless of course you are Bo..

Members of Congress, candidates for federal office, senior congressional staff, nominees for executive branch positions, Cabinet members, the president and vice president and Supreme Court justices are required by the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 to file annual reports disclosing their personal finances. Compliance and enforcement of this requirement is overseen by the congressional ethics committees, the ethics offices of government agencies and, in the case of executive branch officials, the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

These forms record earned and unearned income, assets and related t***sactions, liabilities, contributions made in lieu of honoraria, gifts received, non-governmental positions held, travel that was paid for or for which the filer was reimbursed, and various agreements into which the filer has entered. Information relating to the spouse and dependent children of the filer is also reported in many cases...

Take a look at this article its rather in depth in disclosure requirements..
What is required to be reported gives a lot more information than someone's tax return, which is private and none of anyone’s business!!

https://www.opensecrets.org/personal-finances/disclosure...

And another if interested..

Strong disclosure laws help keep elected officials accountable. Many states require some level of gift disclosure, and 47 states require some level of financial disclosure. Although no states currently require public officials to make their tax returns public, this information would provide v**ers with another important way to compare a lawmaker's words against his or her record. P**********l candidates are expected to disclose their tax returns (not that all of them do). Why not ask the same of all candidates running for public office?

Thank you Linda, politicians should be held to very strict financial gifts and donations..My take on this tax return fiasco..mine or your tax returns are private..so are Donald Trump's..If...he has broken tax laws..then his taxes should be made public...When Obama doesn't have to prove that he was born on American soil and Hillary doesn't have produce 30 e-mails..then Donald Trump's taxes are irrelevant too.

Why didn’t he weigh in on Obama’s secret past. This is just too stupid after they allowed a Muslim to take over the government and change it. No one even asked what change.

I am concerned that we might actually see the progs start behaving crazy, throw caution to the wind and go for it..They have their emperor/god/luciferian/gay muslim to call the shots..The progs like to rub it in our face by asking.."Why do people on the Right always bring Obama or Hillary up".. "they're in the past?"...knowing full well that Obama is committing treason with his semi secret army of 30,000.. The Progs activate civil liberty and s*******s activists..at our President Donald J Trump's every statement or action...it matters not if he is doing the same as his predecessors...the Treasonous MSM..is their church pulpit...and unfortunately, the progs think they can make us submit..that's what concerns me greatly..

On 2 fronts it's NOT constitutional: 1) there exist NO federal law mandating the deliver for public audit a candidate's tax returns 2) NO State may make federal law nor any law or regulation in support of prejudice or prejudicial action. However, the First Amendment does protect Senator Goldin right to make and or support any stupid remark (s) he alone chooses to. The ugly t***h about the Senator is; in all the entitlement programs created since FDR none have ever been able to fix stupid...but many support it.

I would, in a polite way, caution you from such a flipped analogy. T***h is much more ominous.

The Socialist Agenda, "the left" is well financed, possesses all the media outlets needed to properly deliver its propaganda with any number of self-promoting talking heads positioned nearly worldwide in order to crush its opponents. Its only falter in nearly 50years of operational/indoctrination was the placement of BHO. His youth (lack of experience)
coupled with his propensity to demand, "I know best" caused exposure and understanding to his claim, *time for fundamental change*. I dare say had HRC been placed ahead of BHO for just a single term followed by BHO's 2 our Republic would not be recognizable today.

The battle before us is winnable, but not without cost. Thanks for listening
