As long as he doesn't go back to the catch and release program for families, I'm ok with this. He has to find enough people verify that these children are really their own children first and foremost, if they find out they are not their children, deport them and put the children into foster care, or with a legal relative here. If he does go back to catch and release, it will be a very slippery slope. If they have no proof that these are their own children...send them all back.

Don't you see that if he hadn't signed an executive order like this, that would have given the left some f**e ammo to use in this coming e******n. After he signed the order the left wanted, they then moved the goal posts further down field and then stated that the process was not moving fast enough and then stated that the children should not be incarcerated with their mothers. Just one more example of how they want open borders. They seem to be so ignorant, not knowing the wheels of the government move slowly and are never done with expedience. No matter which party has some control. We need to get more conservatives elected in both houses and get a majority or near majority in the Senate. Hopefully we can get some good people into office to stop this slide into obscurity that is wanted by the progressive left.

The executive order defies a SCOTUS decision from 1993, Reno v Flores. It also seeks to undo a late nineties law passed by a Democrat Congress and signed by a Republican president regarding the housing of children with adults for long periods of time. So now that Trump has done that with his EO, I would almost bet some outfit like the ACLU will sue because of the statutory violation.
