How many committing "acts of love" have ended up on the Sex Offender registry?

If you rob a bank to provide for your family, do you get to stay out of jail because it was an "act of love"?

Laws need to have some flexibility, but there are consequences to acts that are illegal, even if the motivation was for the love of your family.
