What has changed is we won't be leading the push for global governance.

Well and good, but until something happens, it's still just a plan. We have to remain focused on the here and now. What will happen in the future is speculation. Lots of things can change the direction of this kind of thing. You cannot go crazy on something that has not happened yet.
