Tax Havens Spoil Trump's Economic Plan

From Newsmax
We’re understating gross domestic product, corporate profits and the rise of the corporate capital share in non-haven countries because so much profit is being shifted overseas. The magnitude is big: The U.S. capital share is 27 percent counting for profit shifting up 1.1 percent, and the U.K.’s is 31 percent, up 2.5 percent.
Most high-tax country enforcement efforts are aimed at other high-tax nations. “In effect, non-haven countries steal revenue from each other while letting tax havens flourish." Why? Data on tax haven countries is hard to come by, companies spend a lot of money to defend their shift to low-tax locales, and there’s less cooperation between tax haven nations and non-havens.
Given these findings, it’s possible that policy efforts aimed at cutting tax avoidance could make it worse. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development is trying to improve dispute revolution mechanisms, but “the easier it is for, say, the French tax authority to relocate profits booked in Germany, the less resources it will dev**e to chasing the profits shifted to Bermuda -- increasing shifting to low-tax locales.”

So why doesn't the antig*******t Trump and his Congress and party prevent companies from being g*******ts and make them keep their profits in the US? Maybe globalism is a front for what Trump really wants.

Can't undo everything that was gone on 8 years of Obama plus there was no help from Bush then through in Clinton, that is 24 years. Trump has been in office how long?

Long enough---he has the congress and the courts. Too much golf, too much Florida, too much wall, not enough real work.

If he had Congress all his appointees would be working instead of trying to get the Socialist Demon-Rat to v**e so the appointees could go to work.

Half the "Republican" Congress probably wishes more fervently than the Dems that this upstart gets upstaged.

Complaining about what Trump isn't doing is a waste of head-space.

Both houses are republicant controlled; trump is a republicant. The congress is trump's--that ain't hard. Question remains: why so few laws passed?

The Republican leadership h**es Trump if you haven't noticed.

They were cowards, snakes and fkheads long before Trump if you haven't noticed.

We rejected their boy Bush who blew 100 million and still lost like a dog if you haven't noticed.

Who cares how many laws are passed? It matters what they are. Does Congress have a quota like the rest of socialist society?

BTW...how few laws have been passed and what are they if you're really concerned.

The republicant congress protects Trump at every turn. Congress? Yep,that is the part of our government that is supposed to pass laws. Article 1 of the Constitution. Do you reject the whole constitution too or just Article 1?

I wasn't doing anything but asking if there's some kind of quota and what laws they have passed. If you know you could post that too. Then you can change your moniker to wholet***hiness.

BM,
I don't see anything in the Constitution about numbers of laws that have to be passed. But I did hear trump talk early on about an infrastructure bill (crumbling bridges, antiquated roadways, outdated water supplies, etc). Even if the Republicant controlled congress fixed those things just in the red states that get much more money back from the fed than they put in, at least it would have been done in America to provide good jobs for Americans as opposed to providing jobs for the poor neglected Chinese criminals at ZTE (MCGA) that trump feels so much empathy for.

Are you in a red state, BM?

You were the complaining about too few laws passed.

After we defeat the Dems in the mid-terms the more cowardly and snake-like "Republican's" will come on board...they've been reluctant because Trump is exposing what a country club congress has become.

They don't know how to work or fight. Sigh! It's a good thing a bunch of them are retiring.

It's only been a year and a half. The Dems resist everything Trump does no matter what (stupid, stupid strategy) and the Never Trumpers in our party are being forced to play ball or take their toys and go home...we'll get to work on the roads in the next 7 years.

I don't wanna hear that red-state welfare propaganda again. I live in NV, though, and our roads are just fine.

You forgot~~~

Too much history making events that other President’s wouldn’t even consider.. Boy did they miss out on photo ops and world leaders watching them doing nothing..

Or too much job growth, unemployment numbers 3.9%, the lowest since 2000.. Or the b****s unemployment numbers that have shown consistently better in each reporting..

Or GDP numbers since he took office..

Or too much Stock market consistency, higher than it’s been in years...

Or too much border patrol reducing i******s and or returning i******s within the US..

Or too much attention on the Wall now being built..

Or too much economic recovery fone do far...

Or too much success in keeping his campaign promises, other than the obstructors, h**er and deviders that want him to fail..

Tell me something t***hiness why do you want our country to fail??? Didn’t we have enough of that BS with bo in office???
