Christians believe In the word of Jesus. Republicans h**e poor people, seniors, minorities, women who aren't obedient,
the disabled. They think it is ok for corporations to pollute our waters, strip our land, big business to pay low wages amounting to s***e labor, they don't want poultry and food plants inspected to make sure our food supply is safe. After all, they may have to b help pay for these things. So, I ask, how can someone be a Christian and not believe in the word of Christ?!
They just have their own version. If you get in a face to face discussion they keep trying to change the subject because everything you said makes sense. I'll offer this , the one thing most ,and I mean the mass majority, self described Christians can't shake is greed. The bible is against it but it is the one thing that invades their cells like cancer. Here's what a "christian" told me. "You tell me that Jesus was a socialist but if we were all socialists there would be none of these major advancements like medical, communications and so on because without the motivation to make money everyone would be too lazy to make it happen". If you were christian wouldn't you try to make these things happen for the good of the people with no motive for personal gain? Another one, this from my brother in law ,the bible toter. " You guys should make sure that you're tithing 10% at church because every since we have god has made us much wealthier". Does this sound like the right motivation to tithe? Our ex bible toting neighbor rented out several s**thole houses for way too much and then was caught selling food she got at the local food bank. The church that my late mother in law loved infuriated her when the preacher bad mouthed the president and encouraged the flock to v**e republican. It says in the bible to honor you country's leader. The last one, I promise, A guy , who is now a deacon at his church once told me that if for no other reason he beloved in god to be on the safe side when I questioned his existence. That one is very telling and probably much more common then many Christians would admit. I believe in the teachings of the bible but I know I can't live up to those standards nor do I claim to.
