Very true but conservatives don't care and since they have the presidency and both houses that's not going to change any time soon. This is all about remaining in power and if it takes looking the other way to treason then sadly they will look the other way.

Trump opened up gov't land to oil. Doing that, and supplying cheap natural gas to Europe, Russia's biggest customers, has done far more damage to Russia's economy than any tariffs on the little we import from Russia. Tariffs are on steel and aluminum. We don't get any from Russia.
