That happened because the progressives took over the party from the traditional liberals. They reject God and the American ideals. They want to fundamentally t***sform the country as stated by Obama after he won the e******n. The Democrats on board with this concept passed ACA and Dodd Frank financial law allowing the government to seize people's accounts if need be.

Result was Republicans took congress and now:
President Republican
Congress Republican
36 states governors and legislatures Republican
6 states Democrat
8 states mixed coming from Democrat

When a Democrat leader looking at this suggested they needed to move more to the center the base responded with a resounding NO!! I guess they want to lose even more e******ns.

Bernie Sanders, in a speech, called the Democratic Party a failed model. He sounds like one of my old professors I had in college. When you look at the Democratic Party and their leadership which includes M. Waters, N. Pelosi, E. Warren, C. Schumer and others, you know why they are such a miserable failure. I h**e to say it, but the Republican Establishment is only a few steps behind them. They are just as incompetent and evil when you examine their record. They sit on their asses and cater to Corprations, Big Business and most of the special interest on K Street. Big money and who can give the most wins the day. If this s**t, I h**e to use that word, is going to stop and this government is to start serving “We The People”, it will have to be the result of the anger, involvement and demands of the Amerivan People resulting in action that brings about change. The people, who know me on this forum, have heard me say this many times. The current power structure will never change until we do it ourselves. This is our nation, country and it belongs to Americans not Mexico, Special Interests, Liberals, Conservatives, etc. It is about damn time they learned that fact. We have sit on our asses for far too long, bought into their BS and worked our butts off while they enjoyed having all the gravy. Example! The exhorbent benefits, health plans, money, perks and a lifetime salary for just serving as a one term Senator and Congressman.They don’t even have to live by or under the same rules like the rest of the people they represent in this nation. If you think this is bull manure, I urge you to do a little research and you will begin to see the light. If I had it this well, it would take an atomic explosion like the Czar Bomba to make me willing to give it up as a life style. As long as we sit on our butts, nothing will change and it will only get worse as a condition.

Either we take it or we will die as a people who were stupid, lazy and did not have the courage to fight for what was rightfully theirs. If we loose this great nation, the interests that will take it over do not have the where-for-all to keep it strong, free and great. They will run it into the ground and it will end up being like Chicago and California. Use your brain, Man!, and think outside the box. Do you think Muslims, Mexicans or Afro-Americans can keep this country great and strong? The only thing they know is that they want, stick their hands out and murmur give me, give me, give me? When everything is gone and shot to hell, America becomes a Third World Country that has factions that fight among themselves for what scraps that are left on the floor under the table. When you hold out your hand under these conditions, it gets chopped off and claiming the role of the victim means nothing. White America will be k**led, raped and oppressed and there is nothing anyone can do about it, because we bought into the liberal ideology that says anything goes. Do you think these factions will care about a spending program for the poor and any people who need help. It will be their philosophy to let them suffer and die. George Soros will have accomplished his goal of destroying our great nation. You probably think I am off my rocker. If you carry the Liberal Ideology to its ultimate conclusion, this is what will happen in the not too distant future.

That is all you can do at this time. When things get bad enough and the heat gets turned up, things like working through the system or being civil go out the window. Do you think the ones who want, want are going to be civil? They have been brained washed into thinking we are evil and they have a right to everything we have built, cherished and what is dear to our hearts. Remember how the Black Man kept hollering he was oppressed and how bad apartheid was in S. A.? Since the time the country has been taken over by the Black Community, they have k**led W****s, taken away their farms and made them second class citizens with no rights. I am surprised a Civil War has broken out in that nation. The samething will happen here. They will take White citizens out of their homes in the middle of the night, beat them and k**l them. They will holler, “Whitey now it is your turn!” They will curse the concept of White Privilege whereby there was none in the first place. This is an excuse to behave badly and justify their actions!

So true, Louie. Then Clinton signed the bill to tax us again after we already had paid the taxes on it.
If they start to take away our social security, the seniors will be on top of D.C. with guns. We paid into it, and will never get what we all paid to begin with. Unfortunately, that is all most on ss get anyway. Not all had good paying jobs with 401's and with the high cost of living, takes all they get each month, which isn't much. My poor mom only got $650.00 a month, and had to pay rent, buy groceries and pay for her meds. She did not get food stamps either, didn't apply, she was the wrong color. Thank God she did get reduced rent in Texas, that helped her. No extras though. All democrats want our ss so they can give it to the i******s who never paid a dime into it.
