Our Founding Fathers (54 Founding Fathers with 44 Believing in Jesus as Lord and Saviour, 6 Believing deeply in God and 4 being Deist. But revisionist history claims most were Deist or did not believe in God. However the progressives have not "Yet" erased empirical evidence of each founding fathers personal claim of faith found in hundreds of written documents, letters, scribed speeches) or inspired by God set fourth One Nation Under God and it wasn't Socialism, Marxism or C*******m.

A recent survey by George Barna's American Culture and Faith Institute indicates that the more deeply people study the Bible, the more they favor capitalism over socialism. Notwithstanding, people under the age of 35 more strongly lean toward socialism. The survey of 2,000 adults also indicated that Americans lacked an understanding of socialism, and after responding to several questions about the workings of economics and governance, they switched from 41% favoring socialism over capitalism to only 25% preferring a socialist system in America. Some 23% of Americans think capitalism is most compatible with the principles of the Bible, 29% chose socialism and 8% believed c*******m best fit the Bible.

Barna says, "However, the more likely a respondent was to believe that the Bible teaches t***h, to say that it is an accurate and reliable source of wisdom, and to spend time reading the Bible during a typical week, they more likely they were to argue that capitalism best fits a biblical lifestyle. Overall, two-thirds (64%) of SAGE Cons - the spiritually active, governance engaged conservative Christians - said the Bible is most compatible with capitalism. That dropped to just 40% among all born again Christians and only 25% of Notional Christians. Even smaller proportions of non-Christians - 18% of people associated with a non-Christian faith and 12% of Skeptics - believed the Bible is more compatible with capitalism."

The survey showed that "pluralities of Notional Christians (33%), people associated with non-Christian faiths (29%) and Skeptics (28%) leaned toward socialism. Significant, though, was the number of people from each group who admitted that they had no idea which economic system is most compatible with the Bible, ranging from 19% of SAGE Cons to 28% of born agains, and jumping to 36% of Notionals, 41% of those aligned with non-Christian faiths, and a majority of Skeptics (53%). Protestants and Catholics also differed on this matter. Among Protestants 40% said the Bible is most compatible with capitalism while 28% chose socialism. In contrast, Catholics were more likely to say the Bible is most compatible with socialism (35%) than with capitalism (27%)."

C*******m and socialism are rooted in the C*******t Manifesto, which calls for the abolition of all morals and religion, rendering the state as god. Many Christians who believe socialism is in step with the Bible point to Acts 4:32, which says, "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that any of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common." This is not socialism. This is true Christianity. Socialism would force the redistribution of wealth. With Christianity, it is given freely. As Solomon writes in Ecclesiastes 3:13, "that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God." Responsible Capitalism is aligned with the Biblical principle that wh**ever you sow, you will also reap. Socialism is a godless system by virtue of its manifesto.

But our teachers of today are brainwashing our youth and they are rewriting our history and their rewriting makes our founding fathers appear brainwashed and out of touch with the christian/capitalist ideology and more in touch with the socialistic/c*******tic ideology.

I wonder how these figures would compare to ten or fifteen years ago? Has there been enough of a drop in the knowledge or in the study of the Bible to affect the percentages? Very interesting and informative study! It also explains a lot about the leanings of political beliefs of Americans.

My son in law was/is a pastor in the Assembly of God church and my brother in law was/is a pastor in the Christian Church. The ting that I have noted being a relative and friend of both my son in law and brother in law is that many pastors were intrigued by the mega church [philosophy of having a seeker service. This is basically a feel good service with a hint of what I must do to be saved. They have basically taken all of the meat that we used to get in our services and taken that out. At first they took it out and then when we still had sunday evening services we received the meat there. Noe they take the meat out of the Sunday morning service and then they cancel the Sunday evening service and many have even cancelled the Wednesday evening service. Now if you go to church on Sunday Morning all you are getting is pablum and no meat and potatoes. At this rate we will be totally dumbed down in one generation. How many kids today don't attend church and how man y of their kids won't attend. It snowballs from there.

Excellent point that with some accuracy we can speculate about a 25-30% higher and more in the thirties

I learned more about the Bible in a home Bible study for 8 years than I did in going to church all my life!

I definitely like the smaller more intimate churches..... less keeping up with The Jones and less politics..... more and closer relationships and more ‘meat’! IMHO. It has been for us.

There won’t be a Conservative party left at that point! I personally think that it won’t be that long until Jesus says, “Remember Sodom and Gomorrah!”

My late wife and I spent many years in home bible studies and we even had a bible college for a few years and my late wife and I took several college classes as well. those were interesting and our teacher had a photographic memory as well. We don't get the meat any more as the new testament teaches we are too interested in numbers instead of armed christians.

America, a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. Spread porn across the world. Cheerleaders for same sex marriage homosexuals.... Reprobate minds, Anti-christian, lovers of self. God won't send his wrath upon America until first he calls the church up for the marriage supper. But I do believe he has been removing his hand of protection. Americans have been inviting Satan into strongholds as the left has been demonically lead, spiritually blinded.
Prophecy says the end of the church age is upon us and the time of Jacob's Troubles about to begin. Your right there won't be a conservative party.

What's an armed christian? A hard right winger?

How about keep your religious beliefs to yourself and stop thinking everyone in the country needs to live with christian beliefs?

This is a good thread of thought, until you jumped in. I knew it was going to happen. An armed Christian is not carrying a gun. A Christian is armed with the Bible. I know a couple that are Christian, they are more moderate. Me being more conservative we have talked and have had very good conversations. No animosity. Each respecting each others opinion and belief. Believers are not all the same. I have another neighbor that is Muslim. He and I talk. I ask him questions on different points of our Religions. He asks questions about my faith. I lean right. Do I take an AK47 or a M4, " which I have " with me when I talk with my neighbors, no. Correct me if I'm wrong. I read nothing in this thread that was trying to impose religious beliefs on any one.

Currently the 7 sisters denominations have been taken over by secular ministers being there for access to the money. Presbyterian USA was taken over in 1932 as documented by Gary North in the book "Crossed Fingers". Only sub denominations still preach the gospel. Almost half of the USA goes to church but only a splinter ever hear the gospel. We were a Christian nation in the begining but now almost all secular. In 2024 a second eclipse will diagonally cross the USA creating an X on the US. One of the eclipses goes through 7 cities named Salem. The end times isn't here but seems close.

I dispair for this country.
