But that aside, the angry h**ers fail to acknowledge the people who are pleased that they have the opportunity to purchase a health insurance plan. And for those who receive Medicaid, do you think that at some point in their lives they paid, or will pay income and payroll taxes?
But here is a real story story that in not a koch bros or republican lie.

I believe the law has corrected a lot of wrongs:
1. It is a fact that many people over 70 will not receive life saving surgery...however that is because of your own poor life style choice. My great Aunt was recently told that she would not survive surgery, so the hospital refused to perform the surgery. She is diabetic, therefore it is unlikely she would recover from the surgery if she survived at all.
2. It creates a larger pool of money which is good, since many folks were going broke paying off excessive bills, since there existing insurance was so poor to begin with.
3. Reduces the need for hospitals to be for profit.
4. Standardizes care
5. Makes people more aware of making good health choices.
Now we just need congress to follow the law!

The right has no viable plan to replace the ACA. So far they floated the idea that selling insurance across state lines would do the trick and how about tort reform. That sounds like big govenment telling people what there injury is worth and really what is the chance of a bunch of lawyers aka politicians capping what other lawyers can make. The Ryan budget is really what the right is all about cut all social programs and increase millitary spending. Ryan at least is honest he said all those popular provisions in the ACA would have to go because they were too costly. So going back to your point they will not replace the ACA if given the chance just repeal.
Bo,
I was trying to find the latest numbers on how many people have signed up for ACA, so I went to the White House pages. Go to the bottom of this page... it lists the reasons for signing up and some of the videos are very funny! I thought you would enjoy this, and no I am not being sarcastic. Just wanted to share the fun!

The ACA is rife with problems and inconsistencies.First off, 7.1m signups is unconfirmed, and there is no data disclosing how many (%) of that number were previously uninsured. Secondly, the ACA is not supported by the majority. Most Americans feel the law is unconstititional, and it serves only as a tool for wealth redistribution. Furthermore, other alternative plans were rejected in favor of 0bama's signiture legislation. It wasn't well concieved to begin with. Additionally, the ACA has putsuch a burden on hospitals and doctors, it has increased wait times for patients. Many patients cannot choose the care they have elected due to ACA restrictions. Finally, for many Americans, the ACA HAS INCREASED PREMIUMS! What is illogical is your hatred of conservatives and Tea Partiers. It is time to cut our losses, and repeal the ACA in favor of a more viable solution to healthcare reform.
Ginny, thanks, some of the videos are amusing.
I find it amazing that there is such opposition to the consept of insuring the health care of all citizens.
There is opportunity to improve the ACA, and it is true that NO plan will be PERFECT, but ACA is better than the previous NO plan.

Yea, who needs all those old people anyway? They just take up the space that other fine Liberals can fill up with undocumented people from other countries. Yea, those old people that actually eat, where that food could go into the stomachs of people receiving government payments. Gosh, how dare those old people wanting to live! They are contributing to air pollution because they eat food that cause gas. What good are they? Man, should we just go ahead and line them up, put them in box cars, and ship them off to camps where they can spend their final years (or minutes, depending if they can work or not) doing labor to pay for those nice young Liberals who feel that it is unfair that the rights of everyone else is being ignored. I really think that old people should be forced to buy life insurance too! That way, you can make money off of the deal!

Bo,
I liked the kitten! Yes, as with all programs some tweaking will be needed and I am still not sure that they will continue using the same back end for the sign up; seems that it may have a few glitches that were not anticipated. To fix them would be many man-hours and expensive, the rumor has it that a new back end is being developed right now to address the security concerns and the platform is more robust to handle multiple user end servers. A decentralized database rather than one mega server. But that is just rumor from my friends in DC.

Boxcars? No way! Trains burn fuel, and cause g****l w*****g Make them walk. The ones who can't will be pushed along by the ones who can.
BoJoker,
Much about Obamacare is still hidden. The most t***sparent Presidency in American history pretends to be merely incompetent with the details. I say they are hiding a lot. I say the cost WILL overrun what ever Obama's projections say.
Obamacare was not supposed to add to the deficit. How much ya wanna bet it does$$$$ by a lot. That will mean more cuts and more taxes.
Crow all ya want. If the details were good this crew of liars would put them out.
Never thought about that! Perhaps just line them up and make them walk. Now that would take care of two things at the same time. They would need to have "escorts" for these old useless people so they do not walk away and get their needed medical care in another country, so the increase in jobs can be trumpeted by the Liberals as economy boom!

The ACA doesn't discriminate by Politics and takes both parties! No you shouldn't be forced to buy life insurance, you take from families with children to feed, cloth and ensure that they have a comfortable bed to sleep in, thanks you old hag. Fire up the ovens, you're next.
We don't need no stinking health insurance companies!
First, I did not call you a name.... I find it rude of you to call me an Old Hag. Second, you should not have to pay for other people's health insurance either, but we have a law forcing us to. I have no idea of what point you are trying to make starting with "you take from families with children to feed, cloth and ensure that they have a comfortable bed to sleep in," Are you saying that our aged are taking this away from families with children to feed and the aged should ensure that they have comfortable bed to sleep in? As a thought, those people that are aged has already done these things and more. I may be next, but I am Jewish so I do know about those ovens. Your comment to me was insensitive to my heritage, and in my opinion, just as important as the gays, undocumented potential democrat v**ers, b****s, and all the other minorities Liberals support and defend.
