You can thank bushie for the government's non-negotiating of drug prices with big Pharma for their supporting his Part D of Medicare.

As for trumpy mouthing off during the lying...er...campaigning season, then his silence, that just proves the disproportionate and unConstitutional power that big Pharma corporations along with big banking, health INSURANCE, military industrial corporations wield in Congress and even over the POTUS. Can trumpy be blamed if he really thought he could "negotiate" with big Pharma and did realize the power of control they have?

I remember when Obama needed support for hi O-care and made a deal with big American pharm to restrict out side competition from foreign Pharm companies. Thus, no competition and thus super high drug prices.
