The Great Leveler”, Scheidel argues that income ine******y is essentially an inevitable byproduct of civilization....Unfortunately for humans, the only remedy appears to be societal upheaval, produced by war, disease, state collapse, or revolution.

So the question begged is there any means to achieve income e******y without having to destroy our society?

So everyone becoming destitute from a state collapse to you is a good thing ? As long as everyone is equal you are happy. I say that income e******y is the absolute worse state of humanity that can exist. Historically the more unequal the wealth is the more happy the society is.

My argument is unquestionable. E******y can only exist if everyone is equally starving and poor. Every great civilization at it's height was also at it's most unequal. The only path to e******y is to make everyone equally miserable. Income ine******y does not destroy civilizations. Income ine******y is the state all civilizations find themselves in after something else has destroyed them.
