Okay, I want to issue an apology to BoJester. I seem to have been the one to start this, but it was never what I suggested. What I said was that everyone should ignore your stupid (as in thoughtless) h**eful posts. I NEVER INTENDED ANYONE TO BOYCOTT BO JESTER. As a former military man, I am 100% in favor of the freedom of speech. At the same time, we can't allow people running through crowded buildings screaming fire.
My point was that if we ignore the "stupid posts" (you have to admit, that some of your responses are simply venom dripping barbs and have nothing to do with the threads posted), it might actually raise the level of discourse in this forum to something approaching civility. Bo Jester being liberal is NOT the only problem on this board, but when a conservative (specially one calling himself a Christian) posts this kind of crap, I call them on it personally. Obviously, I don't call out every post or poster... I have a life and don't sit here all day, nor read every thread.
So to you Bo, live long and prosper, I will do my best to ignore what I consider your "stupid" posts, but plan to read anything you do offer of substance.

That's fine bob, and I appreciate your honesty. I agree that any and all posts/topics maybe considered stupid/wrong by some, however much of that is determined by one's political/religious philosophy.
I make no apologies for supporting the president, the country or personal freedoms.
And while I will bash what in my opinion is the source of discord, such as right wing media and obstructionist political rhetoric, I never ask anyone to follow my lead unless they want to.
I will never name call or personally attack a poster unless they attack me, then I may respond in the most appropriate fashion.

I hope that we can maintain a somewhat cordial dialogue on certain issues.

I enjoy forums where my conservative beliefs are confronted and I have the opportunity to learn and consider alternate opinions. However, when you or other liberal leaning posters refer to any and all conservative leaning posters as "teabaggers", "rightwingnuts" or imply we are stupid or morons, it is insulting and prevents intellectual debate. Results of name calling tend to be more disparaging and insulting words on both sides. I don't condone it from conservatives either.

Most of the posters on this thread are regulars and primarily of the liberal bent. I encourage civil debate between us, but hope that I never speak disrespectively to any of you.

Some of the loudest, most vocal yappers from the rightwingnuts who post here, are always whining, crying, and complaining about how "PC" political correctness is ruining America.

They claim they H**E PC, and to prove it, they merrily bash President Obama every day, post vile, d********g video lies about Michelle, constantly moan, groan, sob and handwring about Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, democrats, liberals, progessives in general, and the so-called RINO's in particular. Throw in gays, b****s, Mexicans, Muslims and the picture is complete.

So it surprises me that these same angry yappers want me banned and boycotted because I am NOT PC.

I happily bash conservatives and their icons like reagan, palin, cruz, paul, fat limburg, and the fools at faux, KKK, white power and crazy gun nuts.

But of course, conservative bashing is off limits, because I am "too mean" and "unfair" and mostly because I support and defend the liberals and progressives. Which to the silly anti-PC crowd, are socialists and c*******ts.
