I'm a little confused about the #metoo thing

Ever since I can remember, this symbol # has been called the pound sign. On automated phone services, after pressing one for English, you are offered the option of pressing the pound sign at some point. Now the me too movement has this sign in front of their motto.
Shouldn't we be calling it the "pound me too" movement?
I know some will roll their eyes, and say it's called a hash tag now, but I don't buy that. It's a pound sign.
Or, maybe they just haven't gotten around to changing all automated phone systems to say press the hashtag sign?

My wife just laughed out loud after reading your comment.

So I read it.

It's quite clever so I ordered alexa to laugh for me.

It is still a pound sign. I get that but I don’t get “Me,too”. Is it if i charge someone prominent knowing that because of me, he won’t have a chance to his day in court, he’s just facing ruin?

I'd like to pound me some of them women, right into the dirt, where they belong. It's outta control with these female vultures.

I'm glad she got a laugh out of it Mr. Counselor. And I hope that gal was able to provide you a masculine laugh as well.

You'd look kind of silly laughing like a girl.

Just say'in.

Or you might get a fat check, or a little fame? Or both?

I have eaten a lot of hash but I never saw any with tags on it. This is another example of perfectly good words disappearing, if you ask your grandkids they will tell you it has always been a hashtag and what is a pound sign? Shouldn't that be a hammer?

Archie, that's the best one you came out with since I've read your articulate threads. You went up at least 5 points in my humble estimation. Good stuff!!!

Yeah. Pound me too. Very silly. But that whole movement, like everything else, has been corrupted into a circus of nonsense. So why not?

Hey Dr.Evil i think you just figured it out.

#metoo apparrently means the woman wants you to pound her into the dirt (sex).

I guess frustrated women need love too.😆

God bless America and President Trump
