WAR: Israel Launches Airstrikes On Syria Immediately After Trump Withdraws From Iran Nuclear Deal

Nine pro-Syrian fighters were reportedly k**led in the Israeli airstrike near the Syrian capital of Damascus on Tuesday.

The attack came just moments after Trump announced the withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal enacted by Barack Obama.

It was announced yesterday that president Donald Trump was withdrawing the United States from the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement. Almost immediately after the president announced the withdrawal, Israel began bombing Syria allegedly targeting Iranian missile sites.

Nine pro-Syrian fighters were reportedly k**led in the Israeli airstrike near the Syrian capital of Damascus on Tuesday. The attack came just moments after Trump announced the withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal enacted by Barack Obama.

“Over the years, Iran and its proxies have bombed American embassies and military installations, murdered hundreds of American servicemembers, and kidnapped, imprisoned, and tortured American citizens,” Trump said in a statement on Tuesday, according to Business Insider. “We will be instituting the highest level of economic sanction,” Trump continued. “Any nation that helps Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons could also be strongly sanctioned by the United States.”

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told a cheering crowd of thousands Tuesday that if any country decides to betray the 2015 nuclear deal, there will be “severe consequences.” Although Rouhani didn’t specifically name the United States, he did say that Tehran is “prepared for all possible situations.” –SHTFPlan

Israeli forces determined there were”a******l movements of Iranian forces” in Syria as motivation for the attack. On Tuesday night, state-owned media outlets in Syria reported that its air defenses had intercepted two Israeli missiles; however, the Syrian media is believed to have inflated its defensive capabilities in the past. The reported strikes targeted an “arms depot belonging to Hezbollah and the Iranians,” according to Rami Abdel Rahman, the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human rights, according to the Associated Free Press.

US officials are now becoming increasingly concerned that Iran could retaliate, and strike Israel. According to CNN, there are increasing concerns Iran is on the cusp of an attack against Israel, several US military officials told the mainstream media outlet. Intelligence is not clear on when an attack could come and what form it would take, they said, with one official noting that “if there is an attack it might not be immediately clear it’s Iran.

“When it comes to weapons and defending our country, we will not negotiate with anybody,” President Hassan Rouhani said. The US’s decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement will be a “historic mistake,” he added.

No can do, kemo sabe. The world is much smaller than it was in the days of wagon trains and smoke signals. Today, it is 10 minutes via ICBM from Iran to Tel Aviv and 41 minutes via ICBM from Iran to New York. Iran has tested 8 long range ICBMs since Obama's disastrous nuke deal.

Yeah, but doesn't an ICBM have to have a war head on it for it to be dangerous? Before Obama's disastrous nuke deal Iran was just months away from building their first nuke to put on top of their ICBM's. So with our inspectors and monitors gone Iran is free to start their program up again and put a real live nuke on the tip of one of those ICBM's. Now that's because of Trumps disastrous cancellation of the nuke deal with no clue as to what would be his plan B...

Our inspectors??? During negotiations, one of the conditions the Iranians demanded was that American inspectors be prohibited from participating. Only the UN IAEA inspectors are allowed, and they cannot inspect any Iranian military sites. Plan B is going into effect as we speak--economic sanctions more severe than the previous ones.

On May 8, 2018, the President announced his decision to cease the United States’ participation in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and to begin re-imposing the U.S. nuclear-related sanctions that were lifted to effectuate the JCPOA sanctions relief, following a wind-down period. In conjunction with this announcement, the President issued a National Security P**********l Memorandum (NSPM) directing the U.S. Department of the Treasury and other Departments and Agencies to take the actions necessary to implement his decision.

Consistent with the President’s guidance, Departments and Agencies will begin the process of implementing 90-day and 180-day wind-down periods for activities involving Iran that were consistent with the U.S. sanctions relief specified in the JCPOA. To effectuate the wind-down periods, today the State Department issued the necessary statutory sanctions waivers to provide for a wind-down period and plans to take appropriate action to keep such waivers in place for the duration of the relevant wind-down periods. As soon as is administratively feasible, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) expects to revoke, or amend, as appropriate, general and specific licenses issued in connection with the JCPOA. At that time, OFAC will issue new authorizations to allow the wind down of t***sactions and activities that were authorized pursuant to the revoked or amended general and specific licenses. At the end of the 90-day and 180-day wind-down periods, the applicable sanctions will come back into full effect.

Ouch! That hurts.

The inspectors were with the (IAEA) based in Vienna and trained in Los Alamos to know what to look for. In addition to that every site connected to their nuclear program was monitored with television monitors making it all that much harder for any c***ting to take place. And the thing is, since the sanctions didn't prevent them from perusing their nuclear program in the past (they were months from breakout) how is it you people think it is a viable plan B to stop them now? What's the thinking going: you don't want inspectors or monitors in their nuclear sites because sanctions that didn't work before are better? That's the most i***tic logic I've heard from you people yet...
