So how do we keep Iran in check now?

Prior to signing the agreement with the US Iran was estimated to be two to three months from building a nuclear weapon. Now it is estimated that Iran could build a nuke in twelve months or so. The question begged is what is to keep Iran from building nukes now?

According to Congress Iran was in their senses, or at least complying with the treaty. It's Trump whose flipped out and tore the thing up. And you didn't answer the question--what's in it for Iran to not go about building nukes?

Relax! The worlds greatest negotiator and deal maker will sit down with the Supreme Leader, and tell him how the cow ate the cabbage. What remains in doubt, is whether old Net will bomb the s**t out of them while Trump is there.

If the (now) P4+1 folks are smart - they'll sanction the US.

Then why did our own congress certify them as being in compliance this past April? As for inspecting military sites--that's going to be the least of our problems with all of our people gone and no one there to inspect anything at all...

The exact same way we will do it with North Korea. Friendly Persuasion. Do what we say or else. Or else be subjected to crippling sanctions.

Our own congress never had a clue. One of the conditions the Iranian negotiators made clear before they would sign on is that American inspectors would be prohibited from participating in inspections. Only the UN IAEA would be permitted, and we all know whose side they are on. They will continue to inspect, but even they are not allowed to inspect Iranian military sites. Moreover, severe economic sanctions will now put extreme pressure on the ISLAMIC REGIME OF IRAN.

In 1984, the State Department designated Iran as the number one state sponsor of terrorism and it has remained there ever since.

In addition, the treaty required a $250 billion payment to the Iranians two times per year until 2025. If you pull up the agreement, you will find the notes to it. All based on compliance with no USA inspectors allowed into the country.

As to good or bad agreement, it would be like 2 armies fighting to take the field. The one with the cannons won the day. Then the winner says lets negotiate a peace and end this in e******y of weaponry. The winner says we will give you the cannons, as long as you promise not to use them for 8 years.

Then you can do what ever you wish. And you can continue to use our money to supply and/or sponsor terrorists any where you wish. You can plot to destroy Israel. You can build your weapons with our money to take over the rest of the middle east, even your missiles to launch the nukes, so you are ready on day one of end of agreement. That is not a peace agreement. It is a license to prepare for the battle in 8 years and then make rules because Iran will be the power.

I find it hard to believe that any American would agree to a situation like that. Thus Peters - who the hect are you?
