😆 It wasn't the islands sheltering each other other, it was the arms of GOD sheltering the islands.
How are the other islands doing, my daughter lives on Maui.
The quake was felt all along the Island chain, which makes sense as they are all connected. The Hawaii Islands are the tops of mountains, undersea mountains, and the solid rock between them acts as a sort of shock absorber. I have heard of very minor damage on Oahu, but none anywhere else.
