This is a fact that we Americans have let happen and seem to have no problem with it!
This is a fact that we Americans have let happen and seem to have no problem with it!
I have enjoyed working here these past several years.
You have paid me very well, given me benefits beyond belief. I have 3-4 months off per year and a pension plan that will pay my salary till the day I die and a health plan that most people can only dream about.
Despite this I plan to take the next 12-18 months to find a new position.
During this time I will show up for work when it is convenient. In addition I fully expect to draw my full salary and all the other perks associated with my current job.
Oh yes, if my search for this new job proves fruitless, I will be back with no loss in pay or status. Before you say anything, remember that you have no choice in the matter. I can and will do this.
Sincerely, Every Senator or Congressman running for President.
Try that at your job and tell me how it works out

Everything I say is worthwhile!
Yet you support the bureaucracy in Washington as long as your side is in power. Very shallow of you.

Only fools think like you, they are called c*******t !!
I support his policies (so far). There is a difference. Not that I expect you to see the difference.

In all fairness to we v**ers, I think we have repeatedly voiced our collective demands regarding such neglect. Not wanting to sound like a 'conspiracy nut case', but it does seem that nearly every time a legitimate effort is put forth in the name of such abuses Congress responds with any number of 'tragedy' for us to focus on. Some attention diverting manipulation is so simple we don't notice; Maxipad's "impeach 45", Mueller's Russian BS, Stormy and her bastard son Hogg. And now Rubio whining the Tax break is unfair. It's a constant onslaught so it works!
If memory serves it was Ross Perot who promoted the idea that a politician (or want-a-be) seeking "your v**e" should gain it only by exchange, quid-pro-quo; "You first agree to our demands of representation and we'll v**e you in!" (literally, your elected representative performs or face a civil suit for non-performance. Term limits become self-defined)
Of course, this type of game-changing plan first requires an issue educated v**er, and second, a savvy v**er that understands this isn't going to be effective with seated electives. RINOs & Socialist Dems will just thumb their noses. But it could succeed with the newcomer. And certainly with an Independent ticket.
Is the idea of a third party so unrealistic, so foreign? The left has two parts, Democrats, and Socialist. The right, Republicans, and RINOs. What percentage of those are supporting our President? Do we v**ers believe the team needed is in place to "drain the swamp"? To secure our borders? To MAGA?
With a new kid on the block, WE can win our America back. But it'll take action with more substance than just writing stupid s**t like this. Thanks for your post CI. And thanks for listening
