This White Mom Wanted To Join A ‘Multicultural Playgroup.’ What Happens Next Won’t Exactly Surprise You.

Apparently, if you're white and live in Australia, you can be barred from certain playgroups for the color of your skin in the name of m**************m, obviously.

Tara Coverdale, a mother from the Sydney area, found this out the hard way when she and her family tried to attend a "multicultural playgroup" at Alexandria Park Community Centre. After being noticed for her pale skin, blonde hair and freckles, the mother was asked her "cultural background." When she answered that she's Australian, she and her two children, a four-month-old and four-year-old, were told to leave the playgroup.

“I’m sorry you can’t come here. It’s a multicultural playgroup," the mother recalls a staff member telling her.

The staffer followed up: “Can I ask what your cultural background is?"

"I’m Australian," Coverdale answered.

“I’m sorry, you can’t come here. It’s for multicultural families and people who speak languages other than English at home," replied the staffer.

The Australian mother said she initially refused to leave: “I said ‘I’m not leaving.' My kids were playing. My older son was having such a good time with his buddy, and I thought, ‘Why should I leave?’”

But, amazingly enough, the Coverdale family was eventually forced to leave the property due to the color of their skin.

The manager of the facility, Jo Fletcher, asked the mother the exact accusatory question as her staffer had, as if it is a crime to be white. “Can I just ask what your cultural background is?" she asked.

Coverdale was then told again that she had to leave. "It’s a multicultural playgroup," said Fletcher, explaining that the mother is unwelcome.

While trying to reason with Fletcher, the mother was told that the playgroup was "exclusively for 'multicultural' mothers who 'might be lonely and might want to build a network of people who speak the same language.'"

As noted by The Daily Telegraph, Australia, "This conversation is an account from Coverdale’s recollection. Fletcher did not respond to phone calls and a text message last week, but she confirmed to the NSW Department of Education, which funds the centre, that such a conversation had taken place."

“We’re in a pretty progressive area. It’s very accepting of all people. But I feel like I’m excluded," Coverdale told the Telegraph. “How does that help Australia, help people to integrate, speak English and build a life… I pay a lot of tax. I pay my rates. To think I’m actually not welcome is unfair.”

Coverdale added that she witnessed other moms at the centre who "didn’t look white" be made "to feel very welcome."

As noted by Heat Street, Education Minister Rob Stokes would eventually mandate the admittance of w****s into the "multicultural playgroup."

“I was disappointed to hear that a mum and her young child felt they were not welcome," said Stokes. "This is not acceptable. Everyone, regardless of their background, should feel included in these wonderful community activities.”

Manager Jo Fletcher was also said to be counseled on the playgroup's "inclusion" policy.

The incident is a perfect illustration of why the Left has been dubbed the "regressive Left" in recent years. Thanks in large part to l*****t ideology, r****m is making a fierce comeback.
