Bruce....I have more respect for you then most anyone on here....I'm pretty sure you said you are conservative.....to at least see the I***t in the White House for who he is commendable......many conservatives and religious right folk are rationalizing their support......which is lame in my opinion.....this Prez is a giant man child...at best

I’ve read many of your posts. You may have a conservative background but you don’t come off as a Conservative. I was anti-Trump. I v**ed for Cruz, then reluctantly v**ed for Trump because I believe Hillary is evil and politicians have been letting me down like, well forever. Gave Trump a shot. H**e his personality. Never liked a braggart. Benched kids for that when I coached. Having said that his policies have pleasantly surprised me like many of his judicial picks. I will give him slack because he is not part of this elitist cesspool called Washington D.C..

I enlisted at 17 and the first v**e I made was Republican that year when I turned 18 in October before the e******n; and I v**ed straight ticket Republican until Reagan's second term when I did not v**e for Reagan only for the reason that no one should be landslided into the Presidency. And I was right as Reagan's second term showed-at least he was somewhat honest. From then on I stayed in the middle. But then while I stayed in the middle the conservatives moved right, and then way right. Strangely enough that left me leftish without moving. I don't think I have changed much from my middle days. I suspect this is the political story of many older people who have serious economic concerns about the country's debt as well as real worries about the shrinking to a vanishingly small middle class. I don't see Trump solving or even trying to solve these kinds of serious problems.
