Sheldon Adelson -- ALONE -- gave more money to Republicans (almost TWICE as much) than ANY labor group, even though some groups include MILLIONS of workers. And that's just the money we KNOW about.

These three alone contributed $158,740,656.00

2.) American Fedn of State, County & Municipal Employees $60,667,379
4.) National Education Assn $53,594,488
7.) Intl Brotherhood of Electrical Workers $44,478,789

The Koch brothers by the chart above gave $18,083,948 and that coupled with the $100,000,000.00 equals $118,083,948.00 which is $40,656,708.00 less than your top three donated. Do you get the picture yet?

Don't you realize that you're undermining your own argument? AFSCME is the nation’s largest public services employees union with more than 1.6 million members. The IBEW has more than 750,000 members. The NEA has a membership of 500,000 members. So, what you're saying is that just THREE rich men gave only 40% less than almost 3 million (3,000,000) workers -- and that doesn't even include union donations to the GOP. In effect, you are acknowledging that that THREE MEN --alone -- gave as much money to the GOP as 1,171,000 workers gave to Democrats -- which is pretty much the same as saying that that each one of your big three GOLIATHS has the financial impact of 570,000 working DAVIDS. Thanks for the clarification.

Some rich people v**e for Democrats and some rich people v**e for Republicans, ditto for poor v**ers. We're talking several hundred million people here. I still don't understand the relevance of your observation. Do you really expect ALL rich people or ALL poor people to v**e for one candidate or to lean toward one political party?

The issue with the Kochs is that they are trying to buy e******ns by spending enormous sums on legislators and ads to shape government policy in their favor of THEMSELVES and away from the interests of the average citizen. Sheldon Adelson alone, for example, spent one hundred million dollars to get Romney and other Republicans elected ($100,000,000), not because he loves Romney, et alia, but because -- even as one of the richest men in the world -- he's a greedy bastard who wants MORE. The Kochs have spent enormous sums through ALEC to influence legislation NATIONWIDE, not to further the PUBLIC good, but to immunize themselves against cleaning up the environmental and other messes they create, passing these costs onto the taxpayer instead of using their VAST (inherited) fortunes to pay for the damages they cause.

BTW, I didn't come to this site seeking happiness from you; I came here hoping to discuss policies and facts, not to merely exchange baseless opinion.

Come up with some policies and facts that back up your opinions and lay off all the opinionated BS.

You didn't read my link, and it has become very evident you didn't. Maybe if you could read things like this you could understand. Now let me suggest that you are trying very hard to use Alinsky methods to take something away from that 8 out of 10 number. When you can prove that you read the link I will be able to discuss something with you but until then you can kiss my nether region.

Many here won't like this link because it shows that 8 or the richest districts are represented by Democrats. Rich here is determined by average incomes in the districts. Of course, most of the left leaners here will point their fingers at the source of the link without reading enough of it to realize that the numbers came from the Associated Press.

There's no doubt about that! There isn't a politician alive that doesn't lick rich butts.

Just be straightforward and and tell me to kiss your ass -- to which I would reply: 'Nobody will kiss your ass when a dog won't even smell your s**t'?

I would think that the point is that 8 out of the 10 wealthiest representative districts elect Democrats all the time. That points to the fact that when Democrats make all their noises about the wealthy GOP people they are ignoring that fact.

Maybe my point is that some people answer without reading or watching links and I think that just happened.

Tell us - are you one of the folks who don't know that there are many billionaires contributing to liberal Democrats, or are you one of those who realize it but believe their motives are pure and clean? Just trying to figure which kind of fool you are

Many of the Koch brothers contributions are disguised by funneling through supposed patriotic organizations. I would rather see a union having more influence than billion dollar companies because they represent working people. I know I'll hear the blah blah blah union fat cats. I never see these supposed fat cats owning 20 homes and flying around in jets they own. Makes me tend to think some of that stuff about union bigwigs is exaggerated. On the other hand one of the Koch brothers owns a mine and a ridiculous "town" that he built just for himself just up the road from here. The town has its own personal railroad and is built like an old west place. Pretty cool I guess. There are no union fat cats around here because Mr. Koch and the other two mines and their companies make sure of that. Got a safety complaint? You're fired! Got a health complaint ? You're fired! Ask why they didn't pay the bonus you earned? You're fired! Want a better raise because the increase in health insurance costs enough that you take home less each year? You're fired? You say we don't need unions any more , that their time is gone ? Try making a complaint to the department of labor. They'll stretch you're neck out on the chopping block.

I have to say, the source of that link goes beyond bias to outright treason.

I'm the kind of fool who sticks to the point(s) being made. What kind of fool are you? EVERYBODY knows that democrats and republicans have billionaire contributors -- but that was not what was at issue. The poster made a ridiculous comparison between union and billionaire contributions -- and THAT is what I responded to. YOU have introduced another element. Any fool (got a mirror?) can extend an argument ad nauseam by constantly introducing other questions -- a game I don't intend to play with you. Go play with yourself.

The average incomes in these districts are not that high. If these are the 10 richest in our country, then our country is in worse shape than I imagined.

So you are admitting that you didn't read the link. If you had you would have seen these words that tell where the story came from and you wouldn't be attacking The Blaze as treasonous.

But a new analysis from the Associated Press found that when it comes to the House of Representatives, the wealthiest v**e for Democrats.

Would you really have attacked The Blaze if you had read the first three paragraphs? Well sure you would but this is actually the third paragraph. Is the pay for some of you trolls really pretty good? Surely it must be for you to expose yourselves so easily as this.
