These people are not migrants, they are refugees fleeing genuine threats of violence and death. They are entering the country at a port of entry and legally requesting asylum which the US is required to consider by both treaty and law. These are people who have walked a couple thousand miles with children on their back to avoid being k**led and for a chance at a hearing before a court to have an opportunity for residency and to eventually become Americans. They are the salt of the earth. Courageous determined people who have made this nation great since its creation
