I believe that we could turn Alinsky's rules around and hurt liberals with them. So many people here claim that they don't know what those rules are so here they are very simply done with the words needed for conservatives to use them on liberals. It just might work if we do it soon enough.

There are a number of targets out there that I would like to freeze and personalize and polarize and then finish off.

Republicans are the ones who are so gullible as to think the world runs on play-books. They memorize their little bible stories in childhood and then think the adult world must use some playbook too.

I once knew a woman who had to bring a stool sample to her Dr. A thief broke in to her car and stole the shoebox that contained the Dr.'s requested item. Kind of reminds me of the Republican plan to steal the Alinsky "playbook".
Surprize!!!!!!

Yep, should be placed at this c****es headstone. Id go make a deposit myself but to busy trying to work in the Obama economy. Alinsky was a legend in his own mind, not worth an ounce of attention and would have lost a fistfight with my younger, smaller sister in real life. He was a little crybaby and anybody who subscribes of his system of pissing and moaning was just downright d******e and un-American. He can rot.

Considering Alinsky was a turd who pandered to other turds, it may simply be curiosity about how turds think.

Have never been a republican but I can read and do. Now you can defend all you want but being a 'former democrat' and know the tactics are used by lower party members in ideas which are incorporated into the platform.

I laugh almost very time Brian uses that keyboard.

Because they have to distill their provincial reductio ad absurdum down to a single individual. They are not able to grasp multiple causations, feedback loops, subtleties and shades of gray. They need a visual image of a boogie-man whether it is satan, Alinsky, Marx, a Muslim, uppity black man, uppity Hispanic, or uppity woman.

They can't comprehend that the president, not being a religious fundamentalist, doesn't use any playbook at all

How about the President's supporters and string pullers? Oh my, none of them have ever read Alinsky, have they? Of course, you haven't mentioned that Obama started out in politics as a community organizer in the same city that Alinsky did his work.

I find it pretty humorous that you want Republicans to fail to see that Alinsky's orders have worked so well for the left that is the position that seems to be who he aimed his little book at.

Of course, you did read the whole link I provided, didn't you? Come on and admit that you have to answer my question with one word, No.

No core principles? That is your claim concerning our President.

I've never heard even one Democrat mention Alinsky's name, but ever since Newt Gingrich mentioned him in one of the 2012 primary debates, when everyone, Repubs and Dems alike scratched their heads wondering WTF he was talking about. Now Republicans are experts about him all of a sudden. Same with Ayn Rand, the atheist who is Paul Ryan's political inspiration. I couldn't care less about either of them.

So Gingrich is the source of the latest Alinsky meme? Why am I not surprised? If it weren't for his age, I would guess Newt was the "love child" of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Newt is the living embodiment of Alinsky-Republican family values. Hallmark carries a Valentine's card authored by Gingrich, "I will love you forever......or until you find a lump".
