Another "huh" moment

I recall campaign rhetoric, executive orders allowing oil and gas exploration on public lands, new tax advantages and other assorted efforts - to help America become oil independent. Anyone else remember any of that? That same mantra from the oil and gas industry year after year. I asked this question years ago " why are we exporting oil AND importing oil at the same time?". No one wanted to give a serious answer.

The sad t***h is, America has not NEEDED to import oil for a long time. The mantra of "we need oil independence", demonstrably untrue, is STILL being chanted in certain quarters for the simple reason - it still works on a large chunk of the population. Remember the recent controversy of this administration allowing large scale exploratory oil drilling on lands reserved for the public? That mantra was dusted off and chanted again, to justify raping land owned by all Americans. This is NOT government land, it is PUBLIC land.

So, for anyone interested in finding some t***h - look up how much US oil is being exported to Europe. After you've done that, ask this question; if we have so much oil that we can export such large quantities, why are we allowing the rape of public lands under the premise that it is needed - to aid in Americas oil independence? These irreplaceable National landmarks are owned by Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike....................so this is not a partisan issue, it is an American issue.

The prices keep creeping up too. The Saudi's are building nuclear power plants for power, while we are promoting more coal.

I believe the general public prefers ignorance over knowledge when it comes to law. Bills are constantly passed going against general growth and population e******y. America is a Corporation and yes it prefers s***e trading.

As a democrat, I receive royalties on the natural gas under my land the State allows me to use because I pay property taxes, but that's another story..There is a war between Russia and the US. President Trump has dealt a death blow to Russia and its economy because we now are exporting to our allies, oil and gas, at much less than Russia charges...it all comes down to this, we can now shut down the DEPT OF ENERGY, as it is no longer needed...the president knows how to WIN, we are just a bit slow in understanding...

They are building reactors for something other than power.
