Summer palace

It appears that the King has moved back to the summer palace, entertaining foreign dignitaries - at $500,000 a night. Where did all the fiscally conservative Republicans go? Maybe they're in a coma somewhere.

Some of the administrations cabinet has been censured for excessive travel expenses, but no one is saying anything about the bosses excessive travel bill. It costs $100,000 per MINUTE to move the President around, added to the million dollars a day for all the related costs. So far, it's been nearly every weekend, plus numerous trips for rally's and other non governance activities. While on those luxury weekend jaunts and rally's, the taxpayer is billed for housing the secret service detail, the Presidents staff, golf cart rental and all meals and related expenses. That's an average of $4,000,000 per trip.............which has a total price tag of around $220,000,000 so far...........which does not include official travel.

The American people own a mansion for P**********l use, complete with world class chefs, wait staff, butlers and other staff............all of whom sit idle drawing pay............while Trump wines and dines folks at the summer palace.

It isn't galling enough that the GOP, who's mantra has forever been "smaller government, less spending", has pushed us into a record deficit - they no longer complain when their King spends money like a Saudi Crown Prince. If Trump is so ashamed of the people's mansion, why doesn't he just quit and go back to the lifestyle he's accustomed to? The American people do NOT owe the little man extra perks. Donating his little paycheck - doesn't even cover the cost of fuel for ONE unnecessary trip.

Where did all the fiscally conservative Republicans go again?

It appears that the King has moved back to the sum... (show quote)

$15 million doesn't pay for the jet fuel

Foreign dignitaries are supposed to be guests, not be charged full pop and then some to Trump's resort. Unless of course Trump is charging the government for the expense of hosting dignitaries.

This whole thing stinks like dead fish, Just the cost Trump charges for the secret service to use Trump's jet is usurious, they should be using another jet like would be done with any other administration, not allowing Trump to rent out the jet he doesn't need. These are "little" things, but they are things that should not be. Foreign dignitaries should be told to stay somewhere else like the four seasons where they've stayed in the past, that staying in a Trump facility is a conflict of interest since they can be made to pay any ridiculous price for their entourage.

I expect him to conduct official state business at official venues. The white house chef doesn't cost any more whether he's being used or not, and Trump isn't putting on the Ritz at Mar A Lago for nothing.

Obama placed tough sanctions on Russia sanctions trump tried to remove when he took office but Congress stopped him.
Now Trump refuses to place new sanctions rump is dirty no question about it anymore
He's also still selling electronics to Russian military.

ALL THE TIME??!! Trump takes WEEKEND golfing trips to Mar-a-Lago. On AF-1. He's never paid back FL for all the extra police security. DC lawyers won't touch him because he doesn't pay his bills.
