A few targets that are symbolic at best, to effectively stop the use of chemical attacks the helicopters and facilities involved in the delivery have to be hit hard. Support ground crews need to be k**led, generals and colonels need to be dead, leaving a crippled military.

This was an excellent live fire exercise.

Agreed. Trump was looking to send a message that Obama was no longer CIC.

Mission accomplished.

This is what happens when a President proposes a mission then let's his Generals develop and implement that mission. We have the best military in the world and now because of the latest Budget it will become even better. Until these rogue countries realize that they are dealing with a President that will back up what he says, not draw imaginary lines but build a wall. These are the kind of surgical strikes that will be made. Once again would like to thank the UK and French for having the balls to stand with us. Nothing like live fire. If you can see how it boosts the moral of the troops, how it bounds teams together and enforces the p***e within each soldier. Awesome.

The world is a better place when America leads from the front.

You can't make deals with evil. You either stand up or lose.

This was not a s**thammer America and allies put on Syria. But we have a s**thammer, and they know we're no longer afraid to use it.

I’m actually pleased with the way this strike was carried out and I was against it from the get go. Enough power expended to send a message but not enough to involve the Russians or use civilian deaths as propaganda. We made a point and more importantly all our people came home safe.
