Studied any history? During the Reagan Administration, the Democrat led Tip O'Neill House had, by this point in Reagan's second term, shut down the government nine times. After the so-called shutdown, the Obama Administration did pretty much everything the Republicans wanted. They just wanted the credit and none of the blame. Cruz wanted a delay in parts of Obamacare. Mind telling me what we have now? The Democrats just wanted it to look like their idea. I don't know what your problem is with Boehner, he is, after all, one of you.
Shutdown? Give me a break. A bunch of "non-essential" government workers got their checks a little bit late. If they are "non-essential," how about doing some of that cost cutting and government slimming we've been promised with them? The only difference I can see is they got paid for staying home and not working, as opposed to getting paid for going to work and not working.

I did not engage in this discourse to discuss your assumptions concerning my ability to comprehend. And your response failed to present any evidence of harm in the form of a menace to me. I have not been harmed or menaced by any actions of the two individuals you mentioned. During the brief period referred to as " the government shutdown ", my business and daily activities continued to thrive. Furthermore, although I idolize not a single living man, as you seem to idolize Obama,I see no evidence that would cause me to believe that there is evil intent upon the hearts of the two individuals you mentioned.

Jack Wheeler may, indeed, be "a brilliant man" -- but his rant here clearly shows him to be a r****t loon (no offense intended against the birds). And Reagan's "strategy" wasn't a strategy; the Soviet Union simply (militarily) spent its way to oblivion in much the same way that Bush and Cheney crippled -- and nearly bankrupted the US -- leaving little money to counteract the recession that he and Cheney caused by paranoid military spending --which his friends in the military-industrial complex [Haliburton, et alia] quickly sucked up, and by across-the-board de-regulation, especially in the financial industry that caused the financial crisis in the first place.

But I don't really want to talk about Reagan -- though I could go non-stop about his "strategic retreat" [sic] from Lebanon after scores of American troops were k**led or about his sales of arms to Iran in an effort to foment yet another a crisis in Nicaragua and elsewhere, and on and on. The topic is "What is Obama?"

Jack Wheeler's own words describe him to a "T;" Wheeler "is an eloquently tailored empty suit... no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance".

Wheeler rants: "He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively".

Everybody has an identity, Jack -- even you. Your identity may not be pretty, but it's who you are. You say he is "half-white". In America, that means he is as good as 'all-black' -- but why do you focus so much on his ethnicity, which you say "is mostly Arabic"? Even if his father had accepted the Muslim religion (Islam), would that make him "more Arabic"? By your logic, if his father had adopted Christianity, he would be considered "more white" -- but r****m isn't really logical, is it?

The Wheeler rant continues: "What he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is 'African-American,' the descendant of ens***ed Africans brought to America chained in s***e ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a s***e. Instead, his Arab ancestors were s***e owners. S***e-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.

Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of s***es, he is the descendant of s***e owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah".

Here, Wheeler makes it seem like a badge of honor to be "the descendant of s***es" -- but Wheeler isn't the decendent of s***es, either. In fact, if we are to believe him, Wheeler has something in common with President Obama, since Wheeler, himself, "is the descendant of s***e owners". And since wheeler is such an accomplished fellow, seems to me like he would make "the perfect Conservative Messiah".

The Looney-Tune continues: "It's something Hillary doesn't understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, t***sferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white".

So, according to wheeler, those who v**ed for President Obama -- the vast majority of whom are white -- are members of the "Obamamania" cult, and though they are white, they view being white as "evil," as the "Original Sin". I can see how that might make a lot of sense to an Originally Sinful R****t Bigot.

Now, the r****t Wheeler goes for the c**p de gras"

"Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd".

This is where the HEAVY manipulation begins. President Obama NEVER directly or indirectly stated nor implied that he was "Christ" or the "Messiah" or the "Chosen One" or the "Savior" or a "king" or any of the other labels that Republicans keep rebuking him for; these were all labels given to him by these very same GOP detractors. [Go figure.]

Think about it. America is overwhelmingly Christian. What could be more insulting to a Christian believer than to characterize someone -- ANY human -- as Lord and Savior? The natural reaction from ANY believer would be something to the effect that 'he is not God' -- and that's exactly how the r****ts in the GOP who spread these lies want us to respond ... emotionally. They want everyone to h**e the president ... just like THEY do. Unfortunately, and all too often, people like Wheeler have had some success

The Looney-Jack continues: "Thank heavens that the v****g majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior".

Ironically, the "phony savior" is the GOP far right who say they will save you -- and all America -- from the fictitious "phony savior" that they, themselves created.

In his intent to denigrate the president, Wheeler actually describes how all Americans should regard Jack Wheeler: "He is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American".

Wheeler may be a r****t and a bigot, but all of us don't have to be. It may take a little reflection and prayer, but if we really are Christians, we won't fall for Wheeler's manipulations -- and we'll be alright.
