It ain't nothing but a thang. The economy is gonna be so great, the little bit of tax paid by those for whom the economy is great, will more than make up the shortfall.
Personally, I think the Republicans strategy is to screw things up so bad, that Democrats will not be able to fix it. Think about it; Republicans have shown no talent for governance, but a superior talent for pointing out what's wrong, so the campaign beginning on January 21st 2021 will be - pointing out how Democrats are failing to fix all the crap they inherited.
Republicans began taking over the Congress in 2009, by pointing out all the stuff that was screwed up and NOT pointing out how much of it was inherited from the Bush era, and continued this attack all the way through the 2016 cycle. T***p w*n on a platform pointing out the stuff that was wrong and blaming BOTH sides, promising to fix everything in his first 100 days. Here we are 15 months in............Obamacare is still the law of the land ( although the poor have been locked out ), no immigration reform, no campaign finance reform, no reform of lobbying rules, no v****g rights reform, and we're still mired in 3 or 4 wars.
I guess Trump didn't specify which 100 days he meant to fix all this in.

Conservatives cut taxes. Less revenue means higher deficits. That's a little fact that Reagan proved and then Bush Junior reinforced...

Honest question Pete. One I've asked befoore, and never had answered by any of you all knowing l*****ts.
How much of every dollar that I earn should the government allow me to keep?

But no matter where it comes from you should care about the reality of the deficit, the budget that was just passed was what, $1.2 Trillion? Trump is closing in on where we were nine years ago when Obama took over from Bush at $1.3 Trillion. Say what you will, that had been cut to less than half.
Jumping back to where we were nine years ago is some pretty ridiculous s**t, especially considering that the part where taxes were lowered didn't do anything except jump the deficit up.

Depends on what you are making, I personally feel that working class people's taxes should be lowered to help them out, and let that be shouldered by people making more than millions of dollars. A million dollar income should be actually paying $300,000, $10 million $4 million of it. I'm talking actual, not what they do pay which is down closer to 10 or 15 percent. I know millionaires that pay not much more than we do, and they pay far less percentage wise.
Distinguish the difference when you say you, how much do you make? Don't worry about wealthy people, they should be paying at least the same percentage as working class people do, and they do not, it is a tax system skewed to favor the wealthy.

It was a loaded question guru. To a con there is no number that is acceptable unless it's a flat tax or regressive to penalize the poor for being so lazy....

If you would like an honest answer Archie I believe we should have a revenue neutral flat tax with every one getting the same cost of living cut out and no deductions there after. The poor would pay little if any taxes, the middle class a moderate amount, and the wealthy would pay the bulk of all taxes with no means of tax avoidance. When Clinton's treasury secretary proposed this the amount was around 37% including payroll taxes. Today it would probably be closer to 50%.

Which government are you wondering about? In the US you are probably subject to taxation in at least two jurisdictions and depending on what types of income and property you have, and what kinds of services you use.
Do you think people should pay for the services they receive from governments? Assuming for the moment that governments maintain the societies they govern, who ought to pay for this maintenance? I think that those who benefit most should pay the most. However, it seems to often be the case that those who benefit most, have the power and influence to shift the burden to the less fortunate.

No, it wasn't a loaded question. You answered it well for a l*****t. I should work 1/2 of my time for the government to fund studies on why lesbians are fat. I've got it now.
You wanna know why you drive over a sketchy bridge every day? Ask a fat lesbian.
