As beautiful as the region may be, you might want to check out the crime rates of Central and South American countries. Honduras, Guatemala, Venezuela, Belize, and Brazil are among the most violent countries on earth. The murder rates in those countries are over the top. Honduras leads the pack with 90 homicides per 100,000 citizens, and in one province of the country the murder rate is around 140 homicides per 100,000. The murder rates in Guatemala, which, BTW, borders Belize, and Venezuela are close seconds to Honduras. Just a heads up for what it's worth.
The murder rate in the United States has never exceeded 5 homicides per 100,000.

Checked Belize. You're right. the Gangs are getting a little scary. Kinda like what the liberals want to let happen here. I would keep my American citizenship but if the liberals take over I'll be damned if I'm going to get stuck with tons more tax's and regulations. I could never leave the greatest country on earth forever. Panama looks enticing and the fishing is downright heavenly, except for the fish. Thanks for the heads up.

Just read where Venezuelan "dick"tator, Maduro will not allow any countries to send in medical aid to his dying and starving people and said he would never accept help from any capitalist country!! This is what our country will come to if the regressive demonratic party gets their "dick" tator in as leader of America. Ovommit and hitlery were definitely trying to steer us to follow in Venezuela's path but thank heaven Trump saved our country!
