He recommended a Joint security meeting to discuss harsher actions against Russia.

If this doesn't trip off warning bells you are asleep at the wheel.

These warnings along with tough actions should be coming from the president

Donnie the C****e is too busy bending over for his bff Putin. The Chinese and the Russians are beavering away at American international influence while we squabble over useless walls
and petty tribalism.
Tough sustained sanctions work and they hurt wannabe dictators like Xi and Putin.

I wrote to Putin once and the next thing I knew I had a Russian Lawyer sitting on my front porch. So, Putin is not so bad, at least he responds to his mail.

I'll put Putin ahead of the Dem party any day. All they want to do is start a war with Russia. NOT a good thing!

Do you really expect McMaster's replacement to be soft on Putin?

With you on that. The US had crippled a cash starved Putin with financial sanctions. Defense trade magazines I get (I was a nuclear missile analyst) painted a picture that on one hand Russia was developing some of the world's most cutting edge weapons such as airplanes, troop carriers, and fighter jets, but they built prototypes and had no resources to go into full production.

Exxon had a deal that was to give Putin half a trillion cash and provide drilling equipment and expertise to get desperately needed oil revenues flowing.

The idea of allowing Exxon to proceed is treason, Trump fully intended to lift sanctions as job one when he was inaugurated, and Flynn called (FBI intercepted) his Russian contact to say sanctions as good as lifted during Trump's inauguration speech. Had Obama done such a thing he'd have been impeached within the week. It's the one thing I can commend the GOP for is refusing to lift sanctions for Trump's buddy Pootie.

The Democrat Party has a long history of collaborating with Russia, and before that the Soviet Union.

When Boris Yeltsin threw open the Soviet archives there was an interesting memorandum.

Subject: Edward Kennedy "on 9-10 May of this year," the May 14 memorandum explained, "Sen Edward Kennedy's close friend and trusted confidant John Tunney was in Moscow. "(Tunney was Kennedy's law school roommate and former Democrat Senator from California.) "The Senator charged Tunney to convey the following massage, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of Central Committee of the C*******t Party in the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov."
Kenney's message was simple. He proposed an unabashed quid-pro-quo. Kennedy would lend Andropov a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return the Soviet leader would lend the Democrats a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 p**********l e******n. "The only real potential threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations," the Senator wrote.

For most of Obama's 2 terms in office Obama downplayed the threat of Russia, famously deriding Mitt Romney-"The Cold War's been over for 20 years."
For 8 years Obama variously excused, denied, ignored or backed down before Putin's Russia.
He blamed any chilly relationship with Russia not on Putin, but of course who else, G.W. Bush.
In 2012 Obama was caught on a live microphone in Seoul, telling President Dmitry Medvedev, that he needed some "space" from Putin, but only till after the U.S. v**e:"this is my last e******n. After my e******n I have more flexibility."
In a Feb.2014 interview with NBC whether his relationship with Putin had turned "icy". Obama shrugged it off saying Putin had always treated him "with the utmost respect," and "there's a surprising amount of humor, and a lot of give and take."
The following month, over U.S. objections, Putin annexed the Crimea, and went to work trying to violently destabilize the rest of the Ukraine. While that was going on, Obama WELCOMED Russia's presence in the Iran nuclear talks. The resulting deal allowed terror sponsoring Iran access to a vastly enhanced flow of wealth, billions of which is now preparing to spend on Russian weapons.
As more evidence of corruption and abuse of power starts to surface about Obama's actions before and during the 2016 e******n it easy to see why Obama's solution to finding out Russia was attempting to meddle in the e******n was to tell Putin to "cut it out", and nothing more.

And the only PROOF of collaboration with Russia during the 2016 e******n was between Hillary, the DNC, and Obama who weaponized, the intelligence agencies, (actually Obama had already weaponized most of our government against his political enemies, the IRS in 2012, Mitt Romney, the opponents of his pro-jihad deal with the largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, to name just a few,) to help Hillary win. The left in America, (the Democrat Party, the media, academia, and Hollywood,) isn't remotely interested in what is best for America, or it's citizens. Their goal is power and control, and for them the end always justifies ANY means The Democrats are much worse than just sore losers, they NEEDED Hillary to win. She was supposed to bury all the evidence that is now starting to see the light of day. And THAT is why Mueller was appointed, and won't stop, he still has to try to cover-up, and reduce the amount of damage done by the exposure of these very ugly t***hs.

It's unfortunate that this BS was all completely covered in real time, and as I've said, a patriot would be pretty upset about it, those who aren't are Trump's alt patriots, Instead of ignorantly calling BS, how about putting just a little effort into seeing if there was anything to this?

Don't confuse yourself with past history, worry about this. Tough Obama sanctions were crushing Putin financially.

All of the players in Trump's campaign were playing with Russia well before the e******n, and so was Trump. Play with Russians and you are playing with the oligarchs who made their billions stealing it from Russia. The United States has no reason to relax sanctions or consider Putin a friend and ally.

Trump does and Trump's reasons wh**ever they are have nothing to do with compromising national security. Forget Trump, stop confusing yourselves, use patriotic sk**ls and apply them to the facts, Putin is a dictator. Putin is directly involved with aggressive cyber attacks that we know of where programs cost at least $200 million dollars. Both the NSA and Homeland Security have been ringing the alarm bells about doing something about this. Worry about and hold your president and party accountable for taking this threat seriously, forget about Trump campaign collusion, it isn't even the most critical thing. And then when you figure we do in fact have a cyber security problem start asking yourself why the president refuses to acknowledge it.

If it's alt facts then you are alt patriots, because you are aiding a hostile Russia.
