From the LA Times
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt's schedule shows he met with Dow CEO Andrew Liveris for about half an hour March 9 during a conference held at a Houston hotel. Twenty days later, Pruitt announced his decision to deny a petition to ban Dow's chlorpyrifos pesticide from being sprayed on food even though a review by his agency's scientists concluded that ingesting even minuscule amounts of the chemical can interfere with the brain development of fetuses and infants.

Let nothing like science and health and children get in the way of profits.

Mr. Pruitt and others in this administration who head departments they know nothing about should be fired. They are a greedy, godless lot!

He's simply doing what he did as attorney general of Oklahoma - lining his own pockets at the expense of those he's "working" for. Notice how all the people with even a modicum of honesty, decency or honor are now gone from this administration? It isn't a coincidence.

Doesn't matter that they know nothing. This is a perfect example of evil corporate influence/collusion in government for profits above everything else, especially peoples' health, even lives.

Not only Dow but ALL chemical companies, plastics manufacturers, big pharma, big oil industry,, big tobacco and YES, even the military industrial complex.

Trumpy's cabinet se******ns may have industry and corporate ties but so has ALL past P**********l administrations for the last 40 years.

Big corporations and big government go hand-in-hand. Every significant introduction of "government regulation", taxation, bailouts and spending has been to the benefit of some big corporations. THIS is not "free enterprise" or capitalism!

As Tim Carney writes that “big business and big government prosper from the perception that they are rivals instead of partners (in plunder.) The history of big business is one of cooperation with big government.”

No, it's corporate socialism. When the GOP talks of "smaller government", they mean shedding responsibility and giving family and friends a place at the treasury trough. Privatization = corporate takeover in plain view.

Both party's have been in bed with corporations from around the world for generations. How do they get around the laws forbidding taking money from foreign interests? Simple, they hire lobbying firms in the US to launder the money through. There's one thing that's truly bipartisan in America - money above all other considerations. Money and those who have it or control it, are the true masters of America - not we, the people.

And EVERY past administration of the last 40 years of either arm of the corporate party was void of the same things you accuse Trumpy's administration of. Why? As Carroll Quigley said,
"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea, acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any e******n, without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy."

I contend that there is really only one politcal party remaining in America--The corporate party and the dems are merely its left arm and the repubs are merely its right arm.

That's been the case since the DNC was born in 1838 and the RNC was born in 1862. One has to wonder how Americans managed to survive for half a century..................without the wisdom and leadership of democrats. Then, things got immeasurable better when America could draw on the experience and honesty of Republicans 26 years after being blessed by democrats. Want to see what true bipartisanship looks like? Research the deal democrats and republicans made with each other in 1864..................which would deny a seat at the table for anyone not a dem or a repub, agreeing to share control of the country and start the "two party system of governance" myth, selling it as though it is Constitutional, and making people believe that it's always been this way.

That was before corporations gained presumed personhood rights under the 14th Amendment from a misinterpreted headnote in the 1886 SCOTUS case ruling in Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad.

Not long ago, the EPA claimed coffee was a cause of heart disease. Then, they came out later and claimed it saved heart attacks from k*****g you if you had one.
They also claim v******tions cause autism in kids has never been proven. Seems the kooks want their kids to die from a disease then get v******ted.
I never saw any of you posters cry when Obama EPA steal peoples land because they had a pond on it.
Your feeble attacks on anything Trump will not work.

I believe you are right and to continue your taxonomy the head between those arms is the Corporations and Plutocrats who form the Oligarchy that really controls our government.
