Obituary for William "Billy" Petree, Jr.
Husband, father, brother, friend, and avid duck h****r, William “Billy” Petree, Jr., joined his parents early Saturday morning , March 24, 2018, after an adventurous life dedicated to the outdoors as a park ranger for over 30 years with VA State Parks and the City of Chesapeake.
To continue the ‘duck hunt’ of life, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Petree; children, Virginia Eastwood and husband, Colin, Angela Jones and husband, Taylor, and Jessica Horton and husband, Corey; grandchildren, Callie, Chase, Emmarie, and Scarlett; sisters, Gail Deans and husband, Ed, and Carol Pauley and husband, Doug; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. There is a special place in heaven for the father of 3 girls.
A celebration of Billy’s life will be held Friday, March 30, 2018, at 2:30 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association. Condolences may be offered to the family at
