Democrats Great Green Hopw? ....Marijuana?

Democrats' great green hope? Americans only want to v**e for marijuana.

Things are not looking too good for Democrats in the upcoming 2014 midterm e******ns, and a new George Washington University Battleground poll is, on the surface, more bad news. The respondents were roughly evenly split between Democrats and Republicans, but 64 percent of GOP v**ers said they are "extremely likely" to v**e in November, versus 57 percent of Democrats. President Obama's 44 percent approval rating won't help the Democrats, and a daunting 73 percent said their personal economic situation has stayed the same or gotten worse over the past four years.

But there is one silver lining for Democrats: Marijuana. While 82 percent of respondents disapprove of Congress — with both parties "universally despised," according to Democratic pollster Celinda Lake — 73 percent support medical marijuana in their states, 53 percent back decriminalizing pot, and most importantly, 68 percent said they are more likely to go to the polls if marijuana is on the b****t. V**ers in both parties are in favor of looser marijuana laws, but the highest levels of motivation are among younger, single people — a group that skews Democratic.

"We are very excited about the marijuana numbers in this poll, not only for personal consumption to get through this e******n, but [also] in terms of turnout," says Lake.

Medically stoned v**ers wow what an offering that is. Maybe we can add some medicinal alcohol to go with that and by all means how about some crack cocaine to help make the b****t even more palatable. And we wonder where our country has gone. May God save America.

I think you are right on the issue to get Dems to the polls. If any marijuana issue is on the b****t, the dems may improve their chances. Both sides are now crowing about the other side being near collapse. But heck, lets have the e******n any how and see what happens...

I am for industrial hemp, not much for recreational pot, and a bit lost on medical marijuana..

I love my Grass, It's been 18 years since my last high but I still miss it, but if you need some education on the medical side google IDK Farms very informative. Meijer stores are selling a product called Nature's Way Ef*Gold Hemp protein & Fiber. I just bought some about a week ago and have been eating it on a peace of toast /w peanut butter and jelly every morning and lost 10 pounds in a week without changing my diet. I'm hoping to lose about 90 pounds total, I wasn't expecting to lost weight when I made my purchase I just needed to boost my Iron. I tried to donate blood recently and couldn't due to low Iron in my blood and someone told me to try a Supplement and I went to the vitamin section in Meijers and seen the Hemp product and tried it. I don't think I will ever v**e Democrat again, I v**ed for Romney, anyways I'm glad that clown didn't get it now. Politics suck but I will continue to v**e on whom I think will be the best for our country, not just what would be best for me.

IDK farms....Think I will look at them.. I am pretty well fed up with politics also.... See no one at all that I would like v****g for in the 2016 fed e******ns.. Locally, my 3 main reps all endorsed a mining operation which I see as nothing but problems for the state... But suspect they will get my v**e, as the best of the poor choices...

Thanks for the heads up.....

Bowling team would be fine with me, booze an the other hand, I don't think would be wise for someone sitting on a button that could destroy the world. I indulged in the "Ganga" (marijuana) for a large portion of my life, and drank for a short time, I never woke up the next morning after smoking weed and not remembered what I did unlike drinking. There is more sickness and reckless behavior form drinking than smoking pot. Cheech and Chong were actors and made a lot of money doing their job, but also created a stereotype for a lot of naive people. Michigan has created jobs and the nasty brown weed that the drug cartels used to bring to Michigan is nonexistent here, this fear of how bad this "Marijuana" is, is gone from this state. Science research now is replacing fear and education is helping people from curing cancer, early stages of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Arthritis, just to name a few of the heath benefits. I have done the research on a first hand experiment, and I just think something that can help people from food, clothing, fuel, medicine, paper, fiber, all from one plant is the greatest thing and grows without toxic pesticides and fertilizers. One acre of Hemp seed can produce upwards of 30 barrels of oil that is 95% cleaner than petrochemicals, not to mention the pressed seed is very nutritious as a feed for cattle. Henry Ford and hemp is a very good Google. Dr. Sanjay Gupita another one. Weed is not the problem money is the problem something that can get We The People cheap red meat, cheap clean fuel. You can lead a horse to water as the ole saying goes but you can't make him do easy access education with the click of a mouse.
