How do you feel about this Saturday's "March For Our Lives"?

Is it just youthful, and perhaps misplaced, idealism? Is it what many on the Right claim, a carefully orchestrated and organized manipulation by the Left to take away guns? As it has more or less come under the wing of the "Women's March," is it just another anti-Trump movement meant to undermine the 2018 E******n Cycle for Republicans? Does it and the Women's March" have legitimate grievances and not just politic aspirations? Isn't it a time for a greater effort at gun control, given we are one--actually number one--of the most violent nations of Democratic nations by far? Is gun control a slippery slope to end the Second Amendment or just the sane and responsible thing to do? Do more guns in every area of our lives, living in a thoroughly armed society, seem wise or good, or does it foster fear, repression, and a lower quality of life? Is safety or freedom our highest priority?

We have seen what the Patriot Act did to erode our personal freedoms for concerns of our safety: is that how we want to live in "the cradle of liberty"? Armed personnel at churches, parks, theaters, supermarkets, concerts, hospitals, daycare centers, schools, sporting events, and so on with everyone attending having concealed or open carry? All of these having metal detectors and free-to-frisk laws? Would that be heaven for the NRA?

My Opinion: Can't you see where this absurdity about arming teachers is headed? What did N**i Germany look like if not the prototype for this madness. Add "Where are your papers" with this full-court press against immigrants: this has already begun. Being Brown or Black is suspicious. It is not ridiculous to see this natural progression of fear-based reactions to an eventual dysfunctional and dystopian society in America; it is ridiculous to be so blind as to not see it. Worldwide suppression by Right Wing agitators, organizations, and politicians is quickly gaining momentum. Meaning here in America, we will end of ruining ourselves to supposedly save ourselves. That is just how I see it and would love to wrong.

I think the sheer number of passionate young people around the nation taking part in these peaceful demonstrations will have the NRA and the politicians they bought crapping themselves.

Last week there was a school shooting in Maryland. There was an officer in the school with a gun, and the shooting was ended in less than 1 minute. Ever notice that most of the shootings happen in 'Gun Free Zones"? The sicko's know that there isn't anyone there who can protect themselves, so gun control laws help the criminals.

Maryland has an assault weapon ban, meaning the kid injured two rather than k*****g scores, and the PO armed with a sidearm had a fighting chance, see how assault weapon bans reduce carnage. Besides the Florida school had an armed cop on campus and it achieved nothing.

I cannot believe the disrespect these kids are displaying. These are 13-18 year old kids who are demanding things of the congress and president of our country. This shows the level of discipline families of kids are giving. I know that, even if I thought my child had a legitimate problem with a law or the government, he or she would be at home where I would know she was safe. I have been on trips with high school classes over the years. The only thing they are interested in is getting away from chaperones and getting with the opposite sex. They also love to jump on the beds and spill cokes on the carpet, which they do not clean up, and eating anything they can get their hands on. Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Lady GaGa and others paid for buses to carry these kids. In another 5 years we will see some unbelievable things from those who marched today and it will not be good.

Maybe, except that Fox News is working overtime to jaundice their motives and undermine their passion for change as a Left-wing manipulation of "impressionable kids." Enough is enough. Gun violence in America is out of control, an epidemic.

Google it: most school shootings do not happen in "gun free zones."
