Just because something is in a Spending Bill doesn’t mean Trump has to spend it.
He can slow walk anything he doesn’t like, and remember the last time upchuck and
pelosilini were happy, than cried uncle in 48 hours?

The federal government cannot be used to pressure states politically. Besides, how could you take any money from California when it contributes more money to the federal government than any other state?

I'm fed up enough with red states (worst economies in the US for the most part) I'm all for west coast liberal states telling the federal government to keep their money, we'll keep ours and use it for healthcare, we can contribute toward the military since that benefits all of us. Pretty hard to use a funding hammer on the wealthiest state. Don't worry, ya'll got Florida and New York.

People in red states are fed up with the government, form your own groups of like minded states, eliminate taxes, healthcare, and social security, environmental regulations. See how long it is until you move to a state that cares about it's people.

Enjoyed the give and take between you and Proud Republican. You make an interesting point about him not having to spend money on programs that he does believe in. I hope that will be the case, but I'm not optimistic. Anxiously awaiting to see if Chucky's tunnel gets started.
