Report: Melania Trump preparing for ‘humiliating’ details in Stormy Daniels interview

Life in Washington has not been easy for First Lady Melania Trump, and it might soon get a bit worse.

For months, Melania Trump has had to listen to allegations that her husband, President Donald Trump, had an affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels. And now, after it seemed that the first couple had dealt with this situation and moved on, Daniels is about the reveal everything in a 60 Minutes interview — and according to an insider, this has the first lady “bracing” herself for the worst.

The Interview

“Melania is bracing herself for what’s to come out during the 60 Minutes special, and is prepared for some pretty humiliating and embarrassing revelations to come out,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com.

According to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, President Trump had an affair with the adult film star over a decade ago.

After this news came to light, investigative reporters followed the first couple’s actions with heavy scrutiny, and they apparently found that the allegation has caused serious tension in their marriage. Whether the reports are correct is unclear, but it does seem that the Trumps had begun to put this supposed scandal behind them.

Even so, Melania Trump is reportedly still worried about what Daniels may say.

“Donald insists he has told her every detail of what allegedly went down between himself and Stormy,” the insider said, “but Melania is expecting further details to come to light.”

Move To Suppress

Daniels has also alleged that she signed a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) regarding the affair in 2016, which was drafted and negotiated by Trump’s lawyers. She reportedly received over $100,000 to keep quiet — but news of the 60 Minutes interview means she isn’t holding up her end of the bargain.

Knowing this, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is reportedly looking to enforce a provision of the NDA that would make Daniels liable for a $1 million penalty each time she speaks publicly about a relationship with Trump.

Daniels and her lawyers have argued that the NDA is null and void because President Trump himself didn’t sign it — but even if that’s true, Daniels may have validated the contract by taking the money.

Still, according to the insider, the president is not letting this bother him.

“Donald has a very convenient relationship with the t***h, and is a genius when it comes to brushing off things that reflect negatively on him as ‘f**e news,'” the insider said.

What Now?

It’s impossible to know whether the NDA will be enough to prevent Daniels from telling her story, but if she decides to talk, she’ll likely do so at great cost.

Meanwhile, the first lady may have her own struggles to cope with — but after facing over a year of unfair media scrutiny, there is no doubt that Melania Trump is strong enough to hold her own.

The sit-down 60 Minutes interview between Daniels and CNN’s Anderson Cooper is scheduled to take place on March 25.
