That's why there is so much drilling going on here. The layering that occurs consists of production,refining and sales. Production consists of t***s plus storage as well as drilling. This area makes tons of money due to oil speculation today. It's produced ,t***sported,and stored( at the refinery) for I estimate $40 per barrel and is then massaged by speculators here and globally to approx $100 per barrel. Oil cos pay themselves or their specs for their own oil stored in their own refinery. Tell me Don,how or what does this scheme have to do w S&D? Especially now because they are going to raise prices because of a projected shortage due to Easter driving. No shortage,just a projected one. That's why I say we are being Enroned by the oil companies. They are trying desperately to condition us to $4-6 gallon. You know they export 30% of the gasoline they produce. Mega mergers have reduced refining capacity to reduce or cause spot shortages. What do all these schemes have to do w supply rather than greed and huge profits and squeezing employee benefits and salaries. Explain please mr economist! Here's one of your economic gurus.
