The eternity prior to your birth will be no longer than the eternity after your death. If one managed to muddle through the pre life eternity then I think the after death eternity will be a snap. He said some of the saddest things one could imagine. That last statement you quote is one of the saddest. Makes one wonder what the next animal will be to evolve and start building hospitals and jet planes. I have not seen any movement in that direction even though these monkeys and squirrels have been around as long as we have. Maybe longer. Atheists are a strange breed.

Anyone who can justify 'belief' as a substitute for reason is a strange breed. In that, atheists are no different than the most ardent religious subscribers.
