From Moonbattery:

Although America was born of r*******n against the British Empire, the liberty we developed was inherited from Britain. The Founding Fathers were originally British subjects. Possibly the greatest influence on their point of view was English philosopher John Locke. Tragically, liberty is now dying in Britain, a casualty of m**************m, as Black Pigeon Speaks explains:

M**************m will tear any society apart. When Islam plays a major role, you can be sure the strife will be spectacular. Remember Beirut in the 1980s? That is what London will look like in the 2020s, thanks to the policy of displacing the native population.

Already authorities are attempting to keep a lid on the powder keg they created by curtailing fundamental liberties. It is certain that they will fail, although it is far from certain that Britain will survive as a free country in any meaningful sense.

The UK is no longer a country of strict decorum and grace.. Instead they embroiled themselves in many things they can no longer sweep under a rug...

They have made their bed and the future is one of mayhem and weakening fundamental Adherence..

In New Jersey, major parts of Clifton and Patterson are now occupied exclusively by moslems and all of the stores and buildings bear signs in Farsi/Arabic script, no English. This change occurred abruptly and was accomplished in five to ten years. Driving through the area gives one the impression he is in another country. The women are either in sacks and veils or are wearing Babushka style head coverings. The men stand around scowling at passing vehicles. An Italian grocery store, Corrados Family Affair, has mostly moslem women as checkout clerks and it is a hoot watching those women grabbing bags and plastic gloves to avoid touching purchases of sausage and pork.

The store has bowed to the predominant culture in that area; the breads sold lean heavily to Mid-Eastern Flatbreads coming from Halal bakeries and many other items specifically related to mid-eastern diet are sold along with Italian Soppressata and Salsiccia. I wonder where all of the Italians who supported this company have gone. Further, this area was home to a huge number of Hasidic Jews. Out of all the flavors of Jewry, the Hasidim have always been the most disputatious and pugnacious, in my experience. I can't imagine any amicable co-existence between two such extremist groups in close proximity.

I am not sure what if anything could be done about that. We have the freedom to live where we please and even though it displeases me to see any municipality totally change its character to one or another group, especially when it is dominated by a particularly militant religious cult, they have the right to do so..

I know that there is a sense of danger now present, which exceeds the usual wariness required in any urban area. It is disconcerting to stop at a light and turn your head to see a couple of men intently staring at you. On one of my last trips I carried my Ruger Bulldog .44 revolver and when the street loiterers locked eyes with me I pulled out the revolver, flipped open the cylinder, spinned it to check the load and snapped it shut. Caused them to drop their gaze instantly, I was no longer of interest.

I have had a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag revolver for years. Don't carry though as I am not threatened in the area where I live. My home defense is a 6 inch barrel Taurus Judge loaded with PDX1 410 gauge shells each containing 3 plated defense disc projectiles and 12 pellets of plated BB shot ideal for short-range personal defence.

OUCH!

I like my revolvers, the automatics tend to have too many jamming problems. My nephew keeps trying to sell me on a Remington Shotgun for home defense. The last video he sent me would scare the poop out of anyone on the business end. It was for the Remington MODEL 870 TAC-14, there is a Mossberg equivalent seen in this video.
