First, someone, usually a conservative-type, offers some rational, factual, issue for discussion.
Second, Those rational, factual issues involving politics in the USA usually highlight liberal failings, failings for which the liberals have no reply.
Third, Unable to reply intelligently, one or several liberals lurking in the shadows will take the issue as a personal attack and will profess it so by launching personal attacks upon the conservative of their choice.

FINALLY, - and this almost happens 100% of the time- the "discussion" degenerates into a school yard name-calling stupid slur-throwing contest.

Because of the almost 100% success of the dem/lib/Marxist professionals to d**g the conservative commentaries into low-level name-calling, slur-throwing, yelling exchanges... the only possible conclusion is that the foul, d********g practices of the disruptive liberal elements have the upper hand.

So, here is my congratulations to the professionals of the democrat/liberal/Marxist gang... so far, by all appearances you are winning most of the "discussions"..

The interruptions/ bad mannered attacks can easily be ignored. Just be polite and carry on the discussion as though the ill mannered troll wasn’t there.

Well, maybe 'won' is not the correct terminology, but look over the discussions and first, the derailment occurs- the lib posts something barely related, but off topic, then the insults fly, and then what was a good discussion... falls flat as folks conclude the place is just gone to the dogs.. the swamp creatures.

The methodology is a great one as it almost always works. The topic in question is very frequently abandoned by the, say , second page and sometimes sooner.

This is more of an observation than a critique.

My thoughts exactly. Responding to permafrost, Kevyn, PeterS or MoldyOldy gives them an automatic win because they have nothing but lies and stupid zingers to contribute. Responding to these means you wasted your time and had the discussion derailed with your complicity.

Surely I have seen that work to some degree, but much more often there's 'clean-up on aisle five' sort of finish to the posts.

I ignore a lot of what is posted by the lib/dem/Marxist fringe we seem to have had glued to us and, yes, that works to a certain degree. Not the ideal, however.

I think, that what I am trying to point out is exactly what you recommend.. more of the reasonable folks here need to skate, jump over, those road blocks thrown down by the childish, cartoon fascinated, dedicated disrupters. Ya know, sometimes I think those with the derailment syndrome and sk**ls are actually paid actors with pockets of Soros cash.

Of course they are. I would estimate that at least 1/3 of the posters here (and 80% of them sepousing the destructive left wing crap) are paid trolls/shills, some posting from far east countries. They are easy to recognize. Just realize that and refuse to dignify their stuff, except when they put up what seem to be reasonable posts which are put up to "legitimize" themselves. Then you might enjoy playing with them.
