No Pete, mass shootings don't make us tingly. The insane screeching from the left about confiscating guns galvanizes patriots into securing arms and looking for effective spokespersons to defend their inalienable rights to protect themselves in any manner. Incidentally, the Constitution agrees with that premise and we don't want it changed to say anything else. If there were other organizations, which performed the same political functions as the NRA, we would flock to them also.

Right after Obama got elected I went out and purchased several rifles and two handguns because Obama was running his mouth about gun confiscation; I know he called it "gun control" but any prudent person could read between the lines. I had divested myself of firearms when my children were small because of the impossibility of keeping them out of their hands. With Obama in office, I then had to reacquire the means to defend myself before he could introduce legislation making it impossible.

If our elected officials had not seemed to be willing to give up my rights I would not have repurchased firearms. I considered joining the NRA at that time as well. The upsurge in gun buys and NRA membership after every incident is the thinking half of the population saying I would rather depend on myself for my safety than the baloney protection of cops and FBI.

Gun control or confiscation is the prelude to totalitarian takeover and control of our government. The C*******ts and their useful i***t allies, the progressives and what passes for liberals these days, are making every effort to achieve this takeover. We sneered at the Russians because for years their only source of information was Pravda and the C*******t Daily Worker but we have seen the virtual takeover of our sources of news and information by similar ideology. Our schools have been infiltrated by c*******ts at the higher levels long since and now at the elementary levels such that free speech is an ugly distorted semblance of what it should be.

Speech is suppressed, religion is persecuted, each incident, by an aberrant individual who is the product of the indoctrination being received, becomes a cause celebre to remove more freedoms. Arabs take down the World trade center and we get the Patriot Act, which permits any atrocity in the name of security. Plus we get another super-spy agency, Homeland Security to screw us in ways the other spooks didn't imagine possible. This in turn spawned the TSA which does body searches on Nuns but leaves moslem women in burnooses alone.

Shooters carry out unspeakable act of murder and cowards that they are they target those who are unprotected and not permitted to protect themselves. Do you notice that none of these demented criminal shooters are so disenchanted that they go to the local police station, at shift change, and try spraying the keepers of the peace with weapons of any kind,. They don't even try bombs; those too are reserved for children.

Their actions are inchoate and senseless, without purpose except they make grist for the mill that incessantly grinds and squeaks for removal of more freedoms from the non-violent populace. Guns Guns Guns! Get rid of the black ones they are scary, get rid of the shiny ones, get rid of the ones that go bang, bang, bang, they are all offensive and possessed only by potential murderers and suspected mental cases. No one says bad parents, stupid collusion between police and schools to keep appearances of good student behavior. No one says malfeasance or misfeasance of the authorities in discharging their duties under the law. And definitely no one goes to jail for this.

Obama was a Manchurian candidate. I believe his task was to destroy the economy of the United States; he was quite successful and we are h*****g in the balance. The economy has not gotten worse under Trump but I have yet to see that it is anything but a patient in intensive care. Gun Control is a necessary adjunct to destroying the government and instituting another, because even if the economy crashes the possessors of guns will always be dangerous to despots.

This then is my opinion of why Obama wanted gun elimination. If he were truly interested in saving lives he could have used his pen to interdict the illegal importation of guns into Chicago, while paying bonuses for every illegal gun Cops could confiscate. Stop and frisk took many such guns off New York streets and they could do the same in Chicago, especially if bounties were being paid for catching bad actors with illegal guns. None of that happened. It is well known that guns are a problem in the cities, why then were no laws or executive orders put in place to control smuggling of illegal weapons? There are no gun makers in most big cities.

I am left with the conclusion that it was only the quest for control that was a motivation for Obama's action. To determine what end, one needs to recognize that there is a bigger game than simple control of firearms, in play. We are under assault from all quarters, by the c*******t fifth column that has grown into control of this nation and Obama was its minion. Everything he did was calculated to disrupt our nation and make it susceptible to takeover.

We have many of Orwell's 1984 predictions as current reality and are fast progressing to a fulfillment of that dismal vision. We have learned nothing from Russia's nightmare of control by C*******m nor from the Chinese experience. We must repeat the insanity for ourselves before we get the message.
