Humanist are again attacking Crosses. All crosses! Even the ones at car crash sites!

As I travel back and forth to work, it is not hard to spot a cross where a family lost a loved one to a car crash. A simple little memorial for a family member.
I never once was affected in a bad way by this sight. Sometimes even making the sign of the cross myself and indulging in a small prayer for this person that I did not even know, and never met.
So will someone please tell me what's wrong with that.
But they have to go! The sooner the better! It is too d********g in the eyes of so many that someone might be remembered in even the smallest way with a thoughtful prayer.
Really? How Sick and D********g can we become as a society?
It truly is a race to the bottom as the world turns!
Oh, I am sorry but I just said a small prayer, followed by the sign of the cross for all the despicable people in the world. AMEN.

Keep praying my friend because this world of ours is in need of them when a small fraction can over rule the many because the many refuse to stand up and fight for their rights.

A number of years ago some kids were driving way too fast on a residential street, no seatbelts lost control and hit a tree in front of my friends house. 2 of five in the car lost their lives. Friends and family made a makeshift memorial of pictures, candles, crosses and stuffed animals around the tree. The wreck happened in the winter and the stuff that didn’t look great to begin with became filthy and looked like hell so after a couple weeks my buddy threw the stuff out. Soon more such stuff reappeared turning his front yard into a low rent shrine you would expect in a trailer park. To this day he is removing junk left by the accident victims friends. I do not understand memorializing the place people die. To me a memorial should represent the best of a persons life, and if public reflect the wishes of the community not be forced upon them.

A residential area is a different story, however, a cross that is well made, and maintained on the side of a highway hurts nothing, and bothers no one.

If it were your loved one you my feel different. To loose a child is the most painful thing to go through. The pain never goes away. If it was your child would you be so cold hearted about it. Jesus is coming back soon. Is this where you want to be when Jesus comes back? Tearing down crosses and hating on people who have lost loved ones. Even if your not Christian, can you respect fellow men who hurt. It's evil to be so uncaring.

However it depends on each State iif they allow crosses or even a memorial..

Using a Christian cross as a memorial along a public highway can be seen as an illegal endorsement of religion and has been challenged in a growing number of lawsuits by secular groups concerned about the separation of church and state... Some claim it violates the Extablishment Clause....

This country was founded on Christian faith. That's what America is about, freedom of religion. What's next burning churches because they are offensive to nonchristians? If you don't like it don't look but this is America, one nation under God. If you don't like it get the hell out and leave good people alone!
