I am pretty sure I know the answer to that question but maybe some of my left leaning "friends" could explain it all to me. Now it is at the end of the present Court session this summer they want her to get out. Why?

That's an easy one. They (libs) want Obama to replace her with an even more liberal judge.

She is probably not as liberal as she was when younger.

I heard from Fox this evening, (that makes it probably untrue since libs don't think the Fox people tell any t***hs) that she hasn't taken orders like they want their judges to do. She tries to make decisions by how she sees the question.

Anyway it is so obvious that those who want her to resign think that Obama can appoint a more left leaning judge before there get to be too many Republicans in the Senate. They really believe that he can appoint one and have it done before December when poor old Harry Reid will be the minority leader.

Dems are admitting that they will probably lose control of the Senate, 51 to 49. I wonder if there are that many stupid people out there.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has had some serious health problems including cancer. My guess is that they would like her to retire while she can still enjoy her life. I'm sure politics being what it is, they would also like to see the President appoint a much younger judge who could serve many more years on the bench.

The Democrats big fantasy is to see Anthony Scalia retire and for the president to be able to replace him with an actual human being.

Did you not mean that special kind of human being, a Democrat?

Now you know darned good and well that they want him to appoint a good left leaner to replace her since she may well not live long enough to survive the next President who will probably be a Republican. It is all politics and has nothing to do with her living without all the crap.

Probably because they fear her term will end in the next presidency, they will lose, naturally or by retirement.

There is no doubt that those who want her to get out want it so Obama can appoint a replacement without having to fear a turn down by a Republican Senate. I don't know that he could swing it with what he has now because some of them have to run for re-e******n this fall and may not go that far.

The Dems want Justice Ginsberg to stepdown now because they're afraid they may lose the Senate in 2014 & Pres Obama may not be able to get the 2015 GOP Majority Senate to accept a person as Liberal as she is to the Supreme Court...

Your not to bright are you, these 2 judges are very close and dear friends. You know as well as anyone on here that Obama and company are working feverishly at controlling the judiciary branch of the gov.

Ginsburg has repeatedly said she has no plans to retire during Obama's administration. I can only imagine the pressure she must be placed under to do so.

I don't care if Scalia and Ginsburg are friends. I wish them both many a nice lunch together after they are both off of the bench.

You have hit that nail squarely on the head, Jim. Wouldn't it be nice if our left leaning "friends" could read all your words?

You don't care if they are friends? You want them to be enemies because they think so far apart? Do you think that enemies would take a chance on lunch after they retire? Wow, that California air must really be great to breathe.

Roy, have you tried reading for comprehension? It might be a new experience for you.
